So I’ve been writing down a list in my mind about all the animations that really feel weird to me, and I really wish they could be updated, and I’m interested in seeing yours!
So I’ll begin from the class and race I play:
- Outlaw rogues: I love how spammy it is, but when I get those pistol shot procs where you fire off 3-4 bullets in a very quick row, it really feels weird, especially with a flintlock pistol. I’d love to see those three shots in a more fashionable, Clint Eastwood way maybe
- Outlaw rogues 2: I like that skill that charge the enemy with an aoe attack, but the animation is silly, it’s just you jumping onto the enemy while spinning around, it’s a bit weird. Would like some sort of charge
- Male humans sprint: that’s how I look like when I really need to go to the bathroom
- Male dwarves run: why do they turn into a square when running? It’s weird, I can barely see the head and the arms are too wide
- Male nelves 1h melee combat ready: why do they look like they are posing to hold war glaciers when they’re not, and demon hunter have a custom animation for that? That not a smart fight stance in any way shape or form, holding your blades like that it’s just silly
- Male night elves hands and thumb: why does their thumb bend in that weird way when holding anything?
- Male blood elves run: why do their shoulders get so broad? They run like they have a stick up their bum. It looks to me that both the model and the animations where better made to suit a dress, but not optimised for anything else
- Male Pandaren sit: I get the monk fantasy, but make meditation as your sit animation for everybody? It seems a little weird

All emotes and add more: that we have emotes in the game that are no more than a line of text in chat and our characters don’t actually do anything is a disgrace.
Casting animstions could use more diversity.

I don’t even know where to start. This would require design sprints galore.
They have to make combat more readable - and that is pretty much going to involve overhauling hundreds of spell effects and removing some of them, too.

Oh and by the way, another one: why do fury warriors use the condemn animation that’s clearly for single 2 handers?

I would love them to make animations for all casters, I would say staff animations and etc.

Honestly, pretty much all of them. In the process I’d make a point of having animations not clip with gear as well.

I’d like to nominate one of the female Night elf staff/polearm melee animations: an elaborate step-in and then they… stub the opponent’s toe with the bottom end of the weapon.
Imagine that with the “Halberd of smiting”, a big, fiery, glowing blade on one end of the thing, and i poke the enemy with the other end, “Tag, you’re it!”
Also, not an animation as much as a single pose, but Draenei riding pose, they’re sitting with their legs far apart because their racial mount is an Elekk, but i haven’t seen a Draenei (Let alone any other race) ride one of those things for years, so they look silly on literally every other mount, so they look good on one nobody uses…

I’d like to able to cast spells from my staff as a caster

Mount riding animations need massive improvement compared to other games.
There’s one spell for demo locks that is cast from your staff! I was so surprised when I found out. It’s the one that spawns demon portals! It would be great if they expanded on that
Hoy! I love butting ppl down instead of hitting them with the pointy bit. Then whacking them over the head with the shaft. It looks funny.
Don’t you take that away from me after all these years! 
Every single one. Overhaul the old ones, add new ones for variation (even for attack animations for the auto attack and idle poses). Rework race-specific animations. Give every major emote an animation.
Also add an emote macro functionality that allows players to macro emotes with custom texts and the option to use the selected targets name too.

Many of the running animations, I can’t play certain races because of it, it looks too silly on them. The worst part is that with a bunch of them the animation was a bit meh but not horrible before the characters were revamped with WoD. Other animations got worse too then.
Fem orcs when they sit looking cross eyed. Fem belf jump gravity being off somehow. Fem gnome constantly, constantly moving and twitching (I love my lil gnome but that drives me crazy!). There’s more but those popped up rightaway.
But the running… urgh. Sprint is even worse usually lol.

I would love for them to add more per-determined animations for all the player models that can be used for in-game cutscenes that involve your character, so that you aren’t just there to watch the cutscene as you stand in the background.
Let your character lean forward to investigate something. Have them suddenly look behind them as something appears from behind them. Have them them peeking from a corner to spy. Perhaps even have more facial expressions.
I know it would be difficult and time consuming to do that for ALL the races. But if they just make these as per-determined, then it can save time in the future to have animations for the player’s character when it needs specific animations.
I know there are a few Races that have the same Skeleton builds. (BElf = NElf, Gnome = M.Gnome, Goblin = Vulpera, etc.) So that would help.
I would go for spells
For example concentration is outdated as hell
i would prefer something more EPIC and holy
