What are delves trying to be?

maybe unpopular opinion, but I hate Brann in Delves. First few levels he is useless, but the first few levels of Delves are not any difficult, once he is 15-20 he is doing 90%… I repeat… 90% of the damage done according to Details. This is NOT a personal challenge as it was advertised, even when the mobs or bosses hit like a truck. I don’t even have to pop my cd, it has NO impact. All I need is to avoid mechanics and survive. What are you intended with this mode? Does Delves exist only to gear up casuals and alts?

my solution? Delete Brann and group play, and tune Delves strictly for solo play. Make it a personal challenge. AND pls, test your stuff before making it live. STOP THIS MADNESS. Thanks.

They are not solo content. They are role agnostic content for 1-5 players.

You can’t make solo play OP and penalise groups by removing Brann. That isn’t a solution. It just forces everyone to go solo.

that’s what I said, what do you mean? I want them to be SOLO only, not for the groups, go do an m+ instead.

if your branns is doing 90 % of dps in the instance its time to check your rotation mate .

or you literlay send him to fight - > vanish and afk while he clears for you .

But yes, delves do need more tuning as the numbers are just off. Don’t think deleting Brann is the answer though.

Tbh I kinda agree with people who say delves should’ve been solo only. There’s plenty of group content and it was obvious from the start that it would be impossible to balance content for 1-5 players, 40-ish specs AND make it equally challenging for everyone.

I agree they should be solo only and Brann should be tuned around that instead of being removed. Problem is some classes/specs are simply better at solo stuff so Brann should make up the difference… Suppose thats where it gets tricky yeah :sweat_smile:

over all it is pretty boring and sometimes you have to watch out not getting hard hitted by some casts
when i started lvl 8 delves with brann as dps and me as healer, he got smacked quite hard, now he is lvl 24 and immortal. hr doesnt require healing at all but also is not the best as keeping aggro.

worst was that he kept resetting thr end boss because he was kiting him out of bounds

happy if i dont have to do it anymore

I don’t know what happened - in Mycomancer delve my Brann healer spec was pulling entire rooms of NPCs - anything he could see without me asking him to and IDK if it’s some of his “Setting” or he is just this AI dumb.

obv as a solo delve I failed becasue with overtuned mobs, I couldnt handle several big hitting mobs with elites + spores exploding xDDDD

So, in the name of fairness, m+ should have solo option too, why is everyone forced to go group.

Bro how? he literally useless, as dps he does 10% of my dmg as prot war
as healer he unable to outheal zevkir auto attacks
he cannot hold aggro and is one shotted by most mechanics
ai is stupid like a brick

he at lvl 24 with 4/4 Arrowhead Idol, how the hell can you make him work at all?

No, M plus is not role agnostic content for 1-5 players.

M+ is primarily group content, delves are primarily group content with solo tacked on.

They should be solo as in just you, they will never work connected to group play. balance around all classes then 1/5 that’s not happening.
