I’m thinking of going back to the alliance.
Not sure that I should stay on my server or not as I belive its a horde one.
What would be some good alliance options?

And thats to delay my decision.
I’ve found a few realms with potential and I’ve reserved names on them until I chose what one I want (then I will free up the names again)
Theres always Silvermoon but also Outland is or used to be pretty decent for Alliance.
Just gave them a go but my names are taken and I’m fussy about that haha
silvermoon or roll horde i would think at this point.
If you don’t mind a lower population Doomhammer/Turalyon connected realms could be considered.
Basically… Do you value the name more than a good experience? There aren’t enough good Alliance realms to be picky. If you don’t want the ones suggested, save your money

I dont RP but I do think of my character as an extension of myself. So if they don’t have a name I connect with, I can’t connect to the character
Then you probably don’t have any good choices. Silvermoon is the go to.
Why could realms matter for Factions?

Ravencrest ,allways with lots of people around very nice communities and the best pvp players !
Silvermoon choice if you only pve.
“Silvermoon” or “Ravencrest” I would say! If you like RP then go “Argent dawn”!
I did play on Outland until last year when legendary was 50-100% more expensive then on Silvermoon or Ravencrest had no other choice then transfer!
Silvermoon and Ravencrest are the big two for the alliance if you want a realm that always feels busy and populated.
Silvermoon as the biggest has the same disadvantage as Drenor (for Horde) in that it can be unstable/crashy for the 1st week of a new xpac, wheras while Ravencrest is busy - it’s far enough behind Silvermoon population wise that it’s still pretty stable on day 1 of releases.
If RP matters then Argent Dawn in the place to be!
If name availability is an issue then Sylvanas is pretty up and coming in the medium pop Alliance realm category.
This just backs what most are saying about busiest Alliance realms
No sites are 100% accurate but they can be used as a guideline.
Cross faction play will come in 9.2.5 as well. We don’t know what kind of impact that will have, if any.

I didn’t move there. I made all my toons there a long time ago before I knew any better. When I understood what was going on there was no way I’m paying to move 9+ characters.
Still stuck there. 
Was talking to the OP I moved from Lightbringer after years of waiting for merges.
Just a question. If I play mostly pvp, what would really be the differences between these 2 realms. As I understand, If I look up groups in LFG, I can join players from both realms right? So it’s the same pvp playerbase on both of them? Only difference being I can only join a guild thats on my realm.
