Mine would be compulsively:
- Keeping my mail empty
- Repairing my gear
- Keeping my bags empty - of items I find unnecesary, means i have more than 110+ empty bag slots
Emphasis on “compulsively”.

i agree with all you said, and ill add 1 more of mine: Jumping. I jump too much, i have to stop.
I know, right?
Also, running in circles when waiting. I can’t wait and stand still at the same time. I have to run around in circles (preferably jumping too to spice things up). I just wish Blizzard created a command to go run in circles, on auto-pilot.
I make my sister dizzy with this habit.
Mogging every single peace of gear i get, repair consistently,
But the weirdest one is me placing my smokes next to my keyboard while i play 2 next to each other all around the keyboard so i dont struggle looking for a smoke while playing xD

I’m really greedy. My expedition island 60 chars still have the expedition island bags I also loot EVERYTHING to not miss out on those few extra copper
Oh! Same. I often get mad at people in my party who don’t auto-loot. Particularly my older sister who selects what items she wants to loot. And I’m like “You’re missing out on so much gold! And you’re wondering why you never have gold to buy yourself a token.”
Dunno its about WoW or not but , i keep my music sounds %100 , everywhere i go
OST’s and Soundtracks are the stuff that makes a game good for me.
Yeah I don’t get people who’ll play WoW with metal or rap music playing in the background. They’re all weirdos to me.
In game soundtrack or GTFO, as the old saying goes.
Exactly. Why do someone plays a game if its not even immersive for them ?
Maybe we’re the weirdos here
Jumping is bad for the knees. You must stop!
For me, it would be using the /who command whenever I’m questing. Because WoW is so vast, sometimes I feel lonely if there isn’t many people in a zone, so I’ll /who to see how many people from my server are questing there.
Don’t ask me why - I just can’t help it. If a zone is practically dead I don’t feel compelled to quest there, as I enjoy seeing other players whilst I’m questing, even if I don’t interact with them.
As of recent though, with Chromie-time, I’m not seeing many people levelling in old zones. It seems everyone goes to either Legion of BFA to level. I used to enjoy seeing lots of people in Duskwood when I got to level 20 etc.
Havent had sound on since vanilla, how weird is that for you? …usually I have Two Steps From Hell or metal playing
Checking mission tables on all characters 2 times a day, sometimes even more
Relatable
I don’t really listen to music when I’m playing as I like to hear the zone music.
But sometimes I do listen to ASMR in the background if I’m doing something mundane like fishing or gathering.
Exactly the same but with added
Must have in main char bag at all times
10 flasks
40 food
20 armour kits
40 agi pots
20 hp pots
And must do mission table on all chars before bed .
wow you all make me feel pretty normal.
i think the closest to compulsion is that it pains me if i have to throw gear away i used to wear or something like that or things i look like keys i dont know what they re for but i keep them “just in case”. my inventory is a hot mess and i have at most like 10 bag spaces left.
Reverse of that. Keeping everything because “it might be needed some day”.
I also have a habit of keeping things from certain questlines in my banks.
Do you remember the quest in Badlands with Rhea one of the red dragons who is investigating the corruption of the black dragonflight during the “Egg Lives on” questline. She ends up getting killed by Deathwing but not before giving you one of her eggs which is a useable trinket. The note on the trinket says "Call forth Rhea’s child to fight by your side. Please take care of him for me"
That to me just hit me in the feels and I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of the trinket. I’m sure it’s in the bank of one of my many alts.
Keeping all pots, gliders, flasks and food an even number. Either 10,20 or 40. For some reason 30 i don’t like.
Checking the world map even when i know exactly where i’m going.
My bags are sorted and categorized the same on all my chars. Whenever i see someone’s UI in a Youtube video and they have this 1 big bag, i either stop watching or skip to the part where the bag is closed again.
I do the same with my interface. Needs to be clean. I can’t even look at my wife’s UI cause its a mess. She’s also a hoarder and still have pots from MoP on her action bars.
Except for when I am doing pvp. Nothing beats listening to music to get your blood pumping while you slay Alliance/Horde scum!
I still summon the MoP version of Nomi everyday with the Cooking School Bell to get an Ironpaw Token.
