Little tangent here, but I used to have a raid frames addon installed that showed you specifically who was targeting you, so when there was a combat bug I could see on my minimap which mob it was. Sadly I can’t remember the name. Was it shadowframes? Or part of ElvUi?

A lot of times mobs don’t follow and also don’t reset, like the crab rares on Islands.

Outside of the combaf bug, if you just wanna run, my tactic has always been Lightfoot potion.

WW Monk cant reset combat, but with 2x Chi Torpedo and a flying serpent kick you get a very long distance away from “bad situations”. Its not always work as it depends if there is an escape area, but its better than other classes (Except rogues and Shadowmeld).

Mages have invisibility (arcane mages have a lower cooldown on it).

I also think that Arcane Mages invisibility gets you invisible instant, while other specs have to wait 2-3 sec.

There are invisibility/shadowmeld potions too

You need to be out of combat to use them to start with

The best about not being nightelf is when you get combat bugged for until you die or alt f4. love game bugs sometimes hearthstone is good too

but in all honesty when it doesnt bug… just run like 100 yards without being hit to reset a mob

Might be the crappy old vanilla potions, pretty sure Draenic Invisibility Potion works in Combat.

Same here i have fooled countless battleground where the defense line was well put as a prot war arch master alchemist i would pop one reappear behing an element mount, cap towers and wait for the : I will use trinket with 2 rogues and two ferals inside each towers all well packed against the wall in case there is as there usually is a shaman. Aways got me off combat , no idea pve wise.

None of them do in raids or dungeons atleast . In pvp or world i dont know .
