What are these Twinks?

Good Evening, recently I have been levelling several chars and noticed in BG’s and Instances you would find the odd player with complete socketed blues/epics at very low level ie level 25, with many other pieces making them very very overpowered in these lower level scenarios.

I was wondering if anybody had any knowledge for me on how exactly they are twinking like this? I mean I have taken a look at Shattrath vendors but the gear says it needs 30+ to equip etc so I am unsure and would LOVE to know how this is done so I may give it a go myself at one stage ^^

I’d imagine its likely to do with TBC vendors being socket heavy on gear during the initial levelling period in hell fire and a few other zones.

is it not just a fully geared level 60 party synced down to low level bgs? seen it a lot, very unfun

Most probably they are ‘veteran’ accounts. If you let your sub run out, you can still play characters up to lvl 20, for free. So you can gear them up pretty heavily for pvp and the meta for that is grinding TBC dungeons for socket gear (mostly).

Party Sync gives you a template, so gem slots make no difference. Main problem is that covenant abilities work at low levels, which is certainly an odd decision.
