I’ve been a bit lethargic lately because of illness, but right now I’m trying to write up a hopefully large-scale plot on Argent Dawn involving Bards and bad magic. Trying to approach it from a DnD campaign planner point of view, writing up potential encounters and footnotes for what to do if characters act in certain ways.
My character is, together with Shuang’s sister - the armoursmith Meifen - working on a new suit of armour for Chieun to use when she is able to return to the fight, which is expected to be at some point after summer.
Chieun already has a good suit of armour, but this is an opportunity to go with more overtly Pandaren themes, as her current suit was made by the orc Roolak from the old Frozen Paw clan.
Until then, I am mostly making events for the Leaf, even if I am unable to actually take part in them IC. I guide others to a treasure I cannot possess.
As a tank, I seek for more power so that I have been gathering a huge amount of expulsion in order to gear up my followers to bring me harb, gem, ore, and more Azeroth power. I had been doing a lot of mythic but I couldn’t get high lvl finger so that I drop my mining skills, and I got jewelcarting in order to make high lvl finger with gem space. i also doing old raids to gather more gold.
Then, I need 30k gold to buy my next month sub give me some tip to make that gold in 6 days?
I have to admit… The plans of my characters are chaos right now.
One of them is simple, she is currently taking it easy, rebuilding her ruined house and regaining the strength she lost after being imprisoned for months. Her goal right now is just to return.
Another one is working her way to infiltrate local guards, take control of their leader, on another hand she is aiding a military unit to bolster their ranks and chances against Horde that is slowlt marching their way through the lands, meanwhile she is also aiding some cultists to deal with local threats WHILE trying to work with the leader of said threats… All this while makimg sure no one knows who or even what she is.
Third and last have a debt to pay and a sentence to serve for crimes she committed, after that she is aiming to hone her skills in order to not end up in such situation again, maybe even she will try to infiltrate the local guards, maybe even strike an allegiance with them so she can work without worry. Her endgame however is completely different, it’s to gain enough power to conquer the world (Which will never happen)
My goal, is to offer interesting story for those involved and help in anyway i can to make Duskwood feel more alive and diverse
Zen’Tezaki is currently in Feralas with the Roaming Hub, talking to the local druids in an attempt to understand what they’re planning to do about the nearby Aqir nest. - He might soon request scouting and preparations to be made for a culling, so that’s something to look forward to!
Other than that he is privately working on the wellbeing of the Clan in what way he can, and his mate in particular with eyes on the future. Might actually see you around @Kump!
Other than IC stuff I am working on a script for my first proper YouTube video in over a year, which is going to kick off a series of (I hope) lore videos that are… Different than the ones you’ve come to expect from people such as Nobbel, T&E, TLC and similar channels. I’ll probably drop a topic on the forums if that lifts off
Admittedly Bertel has been a bit stagnant as a character for a long time, but I love him way too much to let him go, and I can’t bare the thoughts of his IC friends missing him either.
Some progress do happen though, he has begun proper Monk training, learning how to use Chi properly, where he formerly mostly had martial art as a hobby and mostly concentrated on the physical aspect of it.
Then I got a character concept down for my first Night Elf RP character ever, who will also be my first Druid RP character ever.
The amount of lore on that subject is slightly intimidating however, I already did 5 A4 pages of handwritten notes about it, but still miss to go through some more lore before I feel I will be ready to RP him properly.
However in the meantime I started a new Gnome character that I so far love to play, a bit rougher type than Bertel, as he is a military veteran on the leave from service since an encounter under the Legion invasion costed him a whole 4 month straight stay at the infirmary and left him with recurrent flashbacks as a result.
Eventually I am certain I’ll get back to my Elf plans though, especially because I love the concept I thought up for his character.
Alry is a busy little bee, honestly. I’m ramping up IRL to take a summer contract away, so she’s preparing for a hiatus to go and get revenge on a figure from her backstory.
Meanwhile OOC I’m working on actually nailing down her backstory and getting it written out while picking up drawing by doodling little character arts from RP :3
I am up to what I am always been up to
selling cursed trinkets to bankroll my rewards to naive adventures who I pay to gather key ingredients which I need to perfect one of my high end experiments, such as the potion that can resurrect the dead without turning them undead.
failed attempts at this gets added to my stock and is sold to some random sod.
This is of course all part of a bigger chain, with roots in a secret story I have been running with strangers randomly and which still need to see its climatic ending.
Right now I am selling and gathering items, and I am always looking to exploit a naive wanna-be hero or selling some shady merchandise to the unassuming and ill-prepared.
If you want to add spice to your character with a fun little trinket with benefits and drawbacks or if you want to go on a little adventure to gather mysterious ingredients or slay some noteworthy local beast for a bit of ic coin, please don’t be afraid to engage, I can be found in and traveling between Stormwind, Lakeshire, Darkshire, and Moonbrook.
So some background. Recently tried to hold a mini-event with a community and sadly had a bit of a let down where attendance was nearly nil save for one person. Luckily I had decided to also hold it as a combined guild event so members of RV were in attendance and knocked it out of the park!
While it was upsetting at first before the guild arrived, it actually made me eager to run more and more stuff with and for my splendid guild, to perhaps try public stuff again and really put myself out there more with attending things and RPing with people, because the worst that can happen? It happened.
Current other workings are solidifying our guild identity as Horde loyal insufferable do-gooders, encouraging guild members to really dig their teeth back in to RP because I think they are brilliant people, getting my event running confidence up as mentioned, and give some more attention to some neglected alts.
Non RP stuff. Draw again. Get back into that. Then start animating again! It was fun…
After IC’ly experiencing Goldshire I’ve been working on turning my character into an alcoholic.
Aside from that my character’s own personal quest of finding her Father has been halted [in a way so that it’s still open to be continued] and I have a few ideas such as creating a group of criminals that also try to fight for Azeroth. Some people might not realize this but it’s hard to rob someone while the Legion invades.
Another idea I have is traveling to Pandaria for a redemption arc of sorts but I’m just playing around with these ideas at the moment as I want to finish something OOC that I’m working on.
Working on an in-detail backstory of my character, about time I write how he rose up becoming a squire to a soldier to his defining moment. I have been on a writing spree lately and I’d like to keep that momentum going, probably will write stories about him and my other characters.
Dissecting and attempting to replicate the curse of flesh. Soon, I’ll pay a visit to those shamans in Silithus. They must know about the fungalmancers that successfuly converted stone giants to fungal giants in Deepholm…
OOCly I’m brainstorming up guild event ideas every now and then. Need to work on TRP profiles for some alts, also. I’ll soon be undeleting my Orc warrior and maybe maybe I’ll think about trying Horde RP for the first time.
This character is effectively retired from RPing but still has plots that she would pursue independently, like her human ascendancy project and exposing demonic spies within the nobility.
She also has other matters that I can’t pursue on my own as it ties to other people’s characters and I don’t see them playing much lately with at least one being on a WoW break.
I might just retire this character from play but it’s my forum face…
I just escaped Helgen with Ralof, we then fled to Riverwood, where Ralofs’ sister Gerdur runs the mill, once there she asked me to send word to Jarl Balgruuf in Whiterun about the Dragon attack on Helgen. I travelled through Bleak Falls Barrow to Whiterun informed the Jarl, helped his guard take down a Dragon, which made me learn I am the Dragonborn, so now I am travelling to High Hrothgar on the advice of the Jarl to learn how to control my new found powers of the Thu’um, kr the Voice.
So yea, all this because I got caught in an Imperial ambush trying to cross the border.
