What are your suggestions for the corruption system

This topic is about what do you suggest for the corruption system? what would make it a better system do you think?

As for me I have a few suggestions!

1- Let us corrupt items for a good sum of corrupted mementos, for example 10 ( or 25k like the adding socket )

2- I feel like having the ability to combine two corrupted items of the same corruption and the same tier to get a higher corruption level should be a thing.

3- I also feel like corruptions should be abit more common.

4-I also think that we should get the ability to modify corruptions, something akin to the " reforge " system.

So for example, I have a 12% mastery increase corrupted item, I can for a price " reforge corruption " and get 6% increase mastery alongside the ability to choose 1 of three other effects, ofc for a price of corrupted mementos!

5- I think the ability to upgrade a corruption to the next tier should be a thing too! and also the ability to upgrade to a fourth corruption only obtainable in this way would be cool.

So what are your suggestions for this system?

Note: there are TONS of remove corruption topics, so please spare us that input in this one.

  • Remove RNG element
  • replace it with “currency” that you can get from PvP, PvE, raiding, M+, and small amount from open world like dailies etc.
  • Balance it properly

tadaaam you have a great system

you forgot corruption was a TF replacement, and therefore must fulfill the same role as TF which is endless progression and “never get bis” to keep content always valid. If you have that much agency you will aim for bis which makes the whole reason for it pointless.

Leave it as is - only a minority moan about it.

I actually love this idea, because it would alleviate some of the concerns about how RNG the system is right now. That way, those who are lucky can still revel in their luck, but those who aren’t as lucky have more options beyond being at the bottom of the damage meters.

Overall corruption is a cool concept, but the corruption effects should be more diverse and the RNG element of it is far too consequential at the moment.
