Thats the point. They never wanted classic, they wanted the old reward system of : Time = rewards = prestige.
So putting improved gameplay into the same reward structure allows them to throw endless hours into the game and get their prestige over people who cant do that while also now having a actuall rotation

I do believe, they wait for more tuning after the awc tournament.
They did tuning before. Like a week before tournament begins, big changes.
Awc players furious.
Dont expect any tuning till the tournament is over. Wich is a sad thing. I am disgusted about the current state of dhs and some other things

If I recall correctly, in League of Legends they keep patching and balancing even during tournament seasons, and because of these frequent changes when the teams wouldn’t have enough time to adapt to the new changes/meta, Rito have the teams play on older patches on their tournament servers.
Well, I think Blizzard also have tournament servers… so it wouldn’t be impossible to have the same practice: agree with the teams on the patch they’ll be playing the whole MDI/AWC, practice on these servers, and keep balancing the live servers for us casuals.

We’re caught in this endless loop:
- AWC for 2 weekends
- MDi for 2 weekends (ends today)
- Next weekend AWC again - gauntlet and grand finals
- Next next weekend MDI finals or whatever…
So, in the worst-case scenario, we’re stuck for 2 more weeks until Monday March 11 when all tourneys will have finally finished!
Can’t they just balance the game and let them practice on tournament realms

Probably they are focusing now more on War Within. They already announced fated season and also they indirectly said that they are lazy and wont even try to create a new sets for next season but instead wowwww!! they offer us the set appearance and effects from previous Df seasons. For me looks like they already said farewell to Dragonflight.
But lets hope for the best. I feel like we get some changes or fixes really soon.

I mean, this next expansion dream pattern has to stop. I honestly don’t know who is going to advocate for more frequent fixes because it seems that everything is falling on deaf ears. Venruki’s videos, forum posts (eu/us), Tweets, etc. Streamers need to raise their voice more. For example, I asked one streamer about their thoughts on enhance shaman in PVP and they said something like ‘‘fine’’ or ‘‘pretty good’’. I insta ALT-F4-ed.
Anyway, I’ll give 'em time till these competitions are done and if nothing is said/done, I am unsubbing and taking my four forever-rival healers with me until some better days. This has gone too far, honestly.
Who even asked for 999th re-iteration of classic anyway?
