Like who the f thought this is anywhere close to reasonable? I suppose smoke bomb works the same? So does blind? Stun? Like I just bought this cosplay of a game and I cant stop being shocked. What am I missing, what can I ever do to him? The first thing that came to my mind was to melee him with my staff, but that didnt stop him either.
Rouge is hard. Really. I played rated PvP mostly as a tank Warrior or Bear. And… same problem for a years. That a mechanics. I’ve managed better as a Dru because moonfire from distance rogue stuns doesn’t have enough time to stun and run and cap. But sometimes another stealth and that’s it.
Nothing, more or less.
The fact that we can Cloak cap is plain broken. Imo they should make it so spells at least interrupt our cap, even if we’re immune to spells

True, but that’d mean he would have to stand close to the flag, and then we just Sap + cap. He trinkets? Blind + cap.
That’s why you’re supposed to stand at a range when defending vs a rogue, so he can’t instantly start capping after sapping you

nothing. if he has cloak and you’re a wizard you just cant stop the cap its ridiculous.
another ridiculous thing is the dodge talents monks have. i’ve lost bases because he RNG dodged my whirlwind. reminds me of being back in MoP when you’d be seconds from winning a game and your colossus smash would just get parried or dodged and thats GG.
ww dodge talent needs to be removed imo same with the parry one currently they just cloak the outdated design and bandaid it with these mechanics.
this happens with every other spec with few exceptions though.

This means that rogues should not have sap and blind at the same time, I as a warlock cannot have howl of terror and mortal coil, I have to chose my type of CC, why rogue should have all goods without sacrificing something?
No it doesn’t. There is counterplay to sap and blind. There is no counterplay to cloak + cap if the defender is a caster w/o pet
Rogue is a control class, but should still be so within reason. Cloak + cap is not within reason, but having sap and blind is - you just gotta play properly vs it.
It’s typical. If you sandbag your class, people will call you for being biased, and rightfully so. But if you’re being realistic about your class, and admitting when something is broken, then there’s also always some noob going ‘yeeearh, so broken also remove X, Y and Z, cause my class can’t so yours shouldn’t either!!’ … well, then yours can do something else. Warlocks aren’t struggling…
Then why rogue has more Self sustain than Warlocks or Wars?
More mobility than druids or monks?
Rogues need serious prunin on all fronts and quite severe one.
The amount of rogues in the games across the board is just showing how overtuned and overdesigned class is. Rogue as a class can neglect a lot of player errors just by overloaded toolkit.
Rogues quite literally just don’t have more self-sustain than warlocks or mobility than monks.
But they do have good mobility. But they literally wouldn’t be a control class anymore, if they had to RP walk around to cc different targets.
Idk why you’re trying to make it sound like I said rogues aren’t good. But as a warlock you’re in no position to complain. As a demo lock it’s literally a skill issue if you struggle to defend flags vs rogue, as you both have a pet you can manage to avoid cloak + cap and spells to interrupt us from range.
Have you seen any MY message about my issues as Demo or you just assumed it trying to prove your point?

You’re complaining about rogues’ control tools when you play one of like 3 specs I literally can’t ninjacap against, if you don’t mess up royally.
I already said cloak cap is broken. You’re just taking it too far.
Then why you expect someone to show you any different treatment?
