What can shattering throw destroy?

I wonder what shattering throw can destroy.

When I throw it at hunters turtle shield it doesnt go away.

Why?

Would be nice if it could break that irritating turtle shield too though.

One ability hunters really do not deserve (imo) is that damn bubble.
