And is it still useful in BFA?
Lots of things. See
and yes, if you find any of those things useful
They’re mostly used for mounts and pets though.
So basically just low ilevel items?
If you’re looking for level 120 epix, you will be better off in BfA dungeons or Nazjatar, though the quest reward for the week should be one good piece.
It’s a nice way to lvl newly dinged 120s. Timewalking gives 395 items, and you can buy pices of that ilvl too. That is 10 ilvl higher than the benthic gear tokens, before you use pearls to upgrade them. And at 120 if you do the quest (5 dungeons) you get a 415 ilvl item.
And also the mounts and pets
I just went to Tempra in Stormshield, the TW vendor, and see only 380s available. I haven’t done TW this week, so I don’t know what drops. Wowhead is obviously out of date, at least. Are the 395s in the TW raid?
But the highest ilevel in the link is 138. You’re saying that the badges can buy 395 ilevel?
The items that drops inside the dungeons now are 395, i might be wrong about the vendor. I also had an item proc to 405 this week. From what I can see now, I think the gear scales some depending on lvl and maybe your ilvl. My hunter who had a base around 380 got 395 ilvls today inside the dungeons. But when I go to the vendor on a 110 char with no bfa gear I only get 180 ilvl items. Remember some of the gear that drops has a lvl requierment if they drop for a 120 player but are traded to a lower lvl char.
Timewalking items basically have 2 item levels, original and scaled one. The lower is always related to expansion you play and higher is scaled to your level, it will give 395 at level 120.
You mean the drops or vendor gear are ilevel 395?
both, vendor gear is also scaled to your level
No, my 420+ mage was offered 380s by the vendor.
Are you sure it wasn’t in season 2?
Edit: To clarify, just checked, vendor offers 380 items while dungeons drop 395 ones. I was mistaken.
