What casters do well into melees aside from Mage?

you have to cast more fears then you survial

projecting. didn’t read any further.

Demo warlock, by Summoning their Friends

Ele shaman By having Spacebar in every Dmg ability

In the current meta most ele shamans seemingly plays lava-earthshock build where you quite literarelly just press those instant casts, pair that with shield n mail armor n there is no direct advantage to tunneling an ele as their damage output is arguably unaffected, infact due to maelstrom procs you could even argue that tunneling them increases their damage output.

A mistake i see alot of less experienced casters make is trying to kite even when they have no way of doing so, so instead they end up just RP walking in some random direction like a fleeing gnoll where as the more experienced casters seems to just accept when they cant kite n fight back instead. Ele also has Burrow now essentially working as a 5sec duration bubble so i think its just down to there being better kill targets.

In alot of matchups where there is another warrior i tend to make the warrior my killtarget even if warriors are anything but squishy n thats due to the simple fact that intervene makes people very hard to kill.

Only to get feared, stunned, rooted, and disoriented by nearly everyone. Not to mention your go can be completely shut down. Bonus if the enemy has a Rshaman

Thanks god rsham isnt meta!

Ikr that would be crazy.

rdruid also has few builds that will stop demos go just as easily as rsham, and if the dozen stun are not enough you can play kick with it like mmarkers demonstrates with his druid in 2s

demo is often disrupted by all you are right, ez when spec is 95% hard casts and pets that smart people fear and stun and root etc, warriors can just shockwave dogs and fear your entire go after you ramp it aswell so its not like end of the world if the demo gets to make his ramp

this exactly. People like to trash on demo for being tanky and NPC-driven, but never tried playing demo in the currrent heavy glue meele meta. GL getting all the 5-6 casts required to set up a decent tyrant go ( hand of guldans for imps, dogs, vielfiend, second felguard, tyrant) and all this must be timed so they dont expire until tyrant gets out etc while being stunned, trained, interupted, while needing to kite.
And even if it’s all done, no guarantee you get value out of it if the zoo gets ccd.

locks are some of the most delusional players, their class is auto s tier due to their micro cc and cc and yet they always think they’re somehow the victims of arena when they annoy every single player they face

exactly that but its never enough for them

No.

What good is being S tier when none of the specs are remotely fun to play or face?

Demo could be D tier and I guarantee you people would still be mad about it.

they did already on last season, after the nerfs on lock defensives they drop to mid tier and affli even to the bottom tier but arms warris still kept complaining even when self were top specs of every bracket

i had the pleasure today of play with retri and sin who both let demo stand middle of bridge all game and spam fear and his rotation free, then they said similar stuff you see from melee on forum, they simply just dont understand that his free to cast dmg and control the whole team, tetris is too hard for them so they cant think prios or best plan of action for situations they rather say something dumb after zero % brain activated to play their game
