I’m playing a destruction lock, almost at 440ilvl atm, but it starts to get a bit boring somethings. In your opinion what is fun and worth class to play? By worth I mean it can shine too and not just nonstop be at the bottom of the bottom of all ladder. It can be meele/ranged, slow/fast paced, literally any dps. I’m interested in your opinion.

I was a warlock main, and ive now swapped to be a monk.
Im having lots of fun, can play multiple roles, have fantastic mobility, no ramp up time so youre straight in to the action.
I would recommend you check it out.
I think it’s so hard to suggest what is fun to someone else. Fun is subjective.
I am a one trick Puny and only like playing one class and stick with that through every expansion.

I am enjoying my frost DK a lot. No guarenteed fun for others though.
As Puny said, fun is subjective. The dps specs I’m playing at the moment are:
- BM hunter
- feral druid
- shadow priest
- ret paladin
- aug evoker
And occasionally:
- havoc DH
- arcane mage
- WW monk
I also have a rogue (sub/assa) and a lock (demo) that I’ve played quite a lot in the past, but I’m not really playing them this season.
They’re all fun.
Yeah like some people think bm hunter or elemental shaman are great fun.
One is braindead and boring.
The other has no logical flow to it whatsoever.
I dont get the appeal at all. I would never recommend either.
But others love those classes and think theyre the best thing in the game.
If they follow my recommendations of what to play, they would never have found their favourite class.
The only reason i recommend monk is because i also made the change from being a warlock. So there is that in common.
How well it translates to their enjoyment, i dont know haha

I have played elemental shaman in previous expansions here or there, but it for sure is logical 
It is also quite satisfying to set things on fire and lighting the crap out of stuff.
I have never ever had a monk and I play since the original BC. I played mostly on private servers, but played torugh all expansions, except draenor. Maybe it is time to try monk 
And for Netsjerian: I tried frost dk in shadowlands, it was boring as hell in my opinion did it change much since sl?

Monk is very fun to play, it’s a nice contrast from warlock so if you looking for something new, i think you will enjoy the change of gameplay
BM Hunter. The class/spec of godlike players.

go with arcane mage
BM hunter has been really fun to me, I’ve mained it for the whole shadowlands.
Now I’m maining SP for Dragonflight as there something of it that just clicks with me (I find it has a very good combat flow, and I love the animations. When I use Void form it really looks like something to be afraid of).
I do also play paladin, both protection and ret, and I find it really fun as a combat style pov, as well as warlocks (all specs) and warriors (mainly arms and fury). Recently I’ve been trying monk too as I love brewmaster, so in the end I rarely ever play only this SP, it depends on how I feel when I want to play.
First try affliction and demonology, at least you won’t have to reroll and gear.
Also write what your requirements are:
- Easy or difficult rotation?
- Good survivability or doesn’t matter for you?
- Do you want mobility?
- Do you want other roles or only DPS?
- Do you like different weapons or gear doesn’t matter much to you?
- Do you like collecting transmogs?
- Do you like Havi pet, doesn’t matter or hate it?
Been playing up a Lightforged Draenei Demo warlock, it is incredibly fun.
At least in leveling dungeons.
Tho… after getting to the really Juciy talents like Tyrant and nether portal, Dungeon bosses just does not last long enough for you to really pop off.
But at one point in nexus on the anomaly boss I had 24 imps alive… Imagine that.
It also has incredible synergy with talents, There is a talent where you passively gets 2 imps at all times, and another ability where you can sac 2 imps for 2 cores, Which makes demonbolt free cast.
So it’s just sac imp, instant bolt, boom boom,
The AoE with Bomber & Implosion is maddening as well.
What character would you recommend as most fun and worth to play atm? (retail)
my character is fun to play. he is a dark iron dwarf survival hunter and wears a hat. he hits things with the big sword & has lava hound pet who bites the enemy sometimes.
unfortunately you can’t play him because he is on my account. but he is fun to play as.
Yeah I swapped from warlock to hunter. Warlock, while having really cool class theme and fantasy is just so boring to play. Hunter on the other hand, you have BM that gives you really simple ranged dps spec to just chill with, MM to live out your sniper fantasy and survival for those times when you just want to jump around and slap people with a big stick. All in all hunter is really nice.
the character you play is the most fun.
But I think from class I would give Evoker a poke, they are surprisingly fun
Kinda pointless picking one tbh, Blizz will break it so you will need to move on anyway. Pick a role then knock up some characters to see what feel alright to you at the moment.
