In your opinion what class has the best spell effects?
Warlock and shadow priest. And of course Shaman’s chain lightning!
Seriously wish fire mage had some of those sweet fire visuals a destruction warlock has got.
We look so basic :c Basic frostbolts (More like shooting snowballs)… Basic fireballs… And a bigger fireball.
Arcane blast you don’t even see. most visually cool about Arcane mage would be Arcane barrage and explosion i guess.

Chain Lightning from shammies is a top contender itself, as well as raising a horde of undead as Unholy.
Shadow Priests also have satisfying and unique visuals with the void spells.
Let’s not forget Dragon’s Breath and Blast Wave from Fire Mage.
Out of these lot, I have to be partial to Shadow’s visuals and the Army of the Dead spell. Too cool to pass!

I wish holy spells lit up the environment. If I remember correctly, some of the pally ones were planned to do so when they reworked a few of their ability animations… But, I’m not sure if it ever made it to live.
Loved the shaman in cata, i felt like a sith lord spamming chainlightning

Holy paladin is pretty nice, also kultiran Shaman looks pretty nice with the riptide heals (watery thematic)

all visuals are s h i t and outdated in this game. Worst of all are warriors, which literally are like an auto-attack visual xD
At least i think they only class that has some fancy animations is Balance druid which i play.
Blizzard should get lessons from square enix’s Final Fantasy 14 visuals which are epic
Shamans, always liked visuals the most.
