What class should I pick?

I want to push some more mythic this tier. But because of the current state of the class I chose 3 months ago and the absolute incompetence of the balance team, I am not able to.

therefore I come here to ask which spec you think would have the highest chances of not getting benched and are also not overcrowded. Dont really care much about m+. And I also don’t really care too much about the damage performance, as long as they have other appeals that gets them a spot.

rogue or boomkin maybe

Just pick whatever all the top teams are using in the current MDI (unholy DK, I think). That will last you a few months until the balance changes and you have to reroll again.

If rerolling and gearing up a new character every few months is more fun for you than sticking with one class/spec that you enjoy and getting really good at it.

I assume you are talking about raid - then go boomkin. No one bench boomkins.

Prot warrior.

The answer to the thread’s title is ALWAYS: Hunter.
BM Hunter to be exact. :sunglasses:

Why bring a hunter?

Because they’re awesome of course.
Best. Class. Ever.

I hate having to gear up a new character but what else can I really do

What’s wrong with your shaman?

No guilds would bring in a new ele for prog

True
Tho’ I would argue, the Warlock summoning closet, healthstone and +combat rezz via soulstone make them on par with the hunters

Warlock.

Almost always good dps and can not overstate how good gate and healthstone is in a mythic raiding environment.

Depends on the guild. Mine takes good players, but we’re not a CE guild (will be 5/8 when we kill Kurog next week).

If it’s about right now, you could go spriest for big damage overall, unholy DK for big ST and utility. When you look at the rankings right now, there’s a big difference between what’s performing well overall, and what’s good specifically for boss damage. Then you have to consider what’s needed for utility.

Thinking on it, and looking at where you are in raid progress, the DK might be the best option. ST for Terros, deaths advance makes staying alive on Sennarth easy, and guilds with 2 DKs have a much easier job with Dathea add phase (along with the personal benefits of deaths advance again). Plus, they have a useful raid CD in AMZ.

However, if you want a dps class that will serve for the long term, there’s a reason why so many people play classes with 3 dps specs.

This changes as classes are nerfed/buffed and with each raid tier it doesn’t necessarily stay the same either
