A new expansion is almost here.
So. What class and spec are you rolling for the war within?
What class have you played long term? If you are an altholic what classes will you juggle?
You could be one of those: All classes all specs altholics.
I will go first.
Began as a Fury Warrior starting since Cataclysm and always return to it.
Have tried Ret Paladin every now and then. Hunter was just for fun Marksman and Survival but melee era Survival.
Not an altholic but have tried to test out a few other classes. Monk never appealed to me. Destruction Warlock I never took seriously. Tried Shaman but it seems more like a past time.
I will go back to basics. Fury Warrior, With Ret Paladin alt.
The race class combinations with the Allied races added new flavour but. Have spent years with the Fury Warrior so will just stick with that whatever The War Within brings.
Every expansion and patch - it is inevitable that the ongoing nerfs and buffs feels like your class and spec is constantly messed with. But playing through the nerfs is part of the game. Right?
Anyway. What class and or spec are you going to play for the War within?
Mention your reasons why.
I’ll play a Mistweaver Monk as I have since WoD.
I’ve tried other specs but it’s the one I always come back to.
I’ve used MoP remix to level an army of Monks, so I can toy with other transmogs and make us of the 10 Elite PvP sets I’ve collected over the years.

tested a few classes on Beta and ret paladin was the only one that i enjoyed both hero talents so probably that.

Hopefully this feral but possibly switch to healing and then choose between mistweaver, holy(pala) and holy(priest)
I think imma stick with my ww monk
I’m a true altaholic with way too many chars, but I will always stick to my main bloodelf holy/shadow priest I play since 2006 (she started Forsaken). Dragonflight is the only expansion I started all new content on my warlock and I still regret not doing everything the first time on my main.
My main alts it will be nightelf balance/resto druid, Kul Tiran feral/guardian druid (my remix main), bloodelf retri paladin, pandaran enhancement shaman, nightelf mage (all speccs) and probably my bloodelf BM hunter.
I will main my Ret Paladin as always, but I’m currently trying to figure out which 4 I want to mark as “Favourites” so they show around the campfire.
Probably Paladin, Druid, Hunter, and one more TBD based on the way the classes play in TWW.
After seeing the beta m+, probably not a healer. They have no idea how to handle healing.
Probably going balance druid or ret paladin.
Arms Warrior or Rogue Shadowdance
I’ll probably play all classes, but will probably prioritize healers and tanks, simply because the DPS role is far too oversaturated, and making groups and getting into dungeons fast is part of the fun for me. I hate waiting.

Best succesful MMO system - to choice an Role only for group possibilities, treating all the system as an job
No, it’s one of the reasons. Fast queues. I truly enjoy healing over any role. If the game felt like a job I wouldn’t be playing it.

Healer Resto Druid + Shaman
As for tank for 3 expansions Demon Hunter-Veng.
Now As for the Enjoyment with Beta…nothing amazing from the Hunters and Dks atm.
Resto Druid and Shamans at least 1st tier are above average .
And Demon Hunter is still strong for the 1st Season .
Shadow Priest always … it’s the one class I’ve semi-mastered. Powerful, self-healing; if it had better aoe I’d be even happier.
I do run a level 70 evoker but am not very good at it and I have a boomkin who is supposed to be my gatherer but I haven’t had time to play her much and she hasn’t even reached 70 yet. Maybe I can get her there before WW
Maining this guy as always, but levelling a BM hunter in remix so migjt give that an occasional run out
Same, I haven’t mained a pure DPS class since Vanilla, because I want to be able to get into dungeon groups quickly as a tank or healer.
I’ll probably pick shaman, priest, or monk in TWW. Shaman has the most fun healing spec, priest has the best transmogs and also fun healing specs, and I think with monk all 3 specs will play very well in TWW.
I just hope the 2 shaman DPS specs will get some love. So far there haven’t been any significant TWW changes for them. But that one WoW dev who’s been in several interviews lately said that he’ll make sure shamans are good. inhales hopium.
I will remain set to my evoker, but I’m not going to buy TWW so I will spend most of my time in retail flying in the dragon isles
