What classes are always good in pvp?

Hey everybody. I don’t have time to play multiple classes and I don’t want to chase FOTM classes all the time so could you recommend me classes(dps or healer idc) that are always viable in arena regardless of patches? Bonus points if they are also good in pve since i will be spending most of my time gearing up  Thanks.

Which is the easiest from those?

Looks like you have 0 arena experience so, probably doesn’t matter?

Yeah, but it matters. Why would anybody want to play a class that is a rollercoaster? I just want a class that is consistent so I don’t have to reroll if it gets nerfed to oblivion.

No it doesn’t; any class can get to say 1800 and you have no experience. You should play what you enjoy, not what someone tells you is always best.

You have a pala, go play hpala then which is almost always good in at least one comp.

Don’t look at class or I rather say spec itself. Look at combo and then pick a spec you want to play. Some of them are more supportive while the other are more offensive. Also, look at race, for instance for Rogues nelves on alliance or orcs on horde may work better than human bleves etc. I cite me though :stuck_out_tongue:

Rogue and Mage. Druid is usually always a good healer (maybe not always meta, but always good).

That is very very subjective.
If you’re somebody that wishes ti push, you likely FotM reroll a lot.
If you don’t, you probably won’t, unless being a strong spec is what you classify as fun.

For an example, I can totally understand you’d reroll from warrior or ret if you dislike being kited and having weak defences.
Those specs can reach 1.8k just fine, but you might go sub rogue because they have more uptime, despite it being harder to get 1.8k with.

For DPS:
If you got a rogue or mage buddy, play the missing counterpart (there hasn’t been a season where rmx wasn’t a r1 comp).

Otherwise, both of those classes were always pretty dominant in pvp ever since classic.

They require a certain lvl of gameplan overwiev to play though, since you have to create certain kill windows to finish some1 off, unlike some cleave comps including every other meele, which usually win on mana / pressure alone.

Otherwise Locks have had at least one dominant spec throughtout most of the wow arena season and locks are more “cleaveheavy” than mages, since you rely on your fear more for disruption instead of solely creating kill windows.

They are also more newcomer friendly than mages and rogues.

For Healers you probably can’t go wrong with playing a rdruid and/or hpala, even though skillcapping on a rdruid is probably the most difficult thing to do in arenas (always depends on the comp though, playing rdruid in a mld is super chill).

Hpala would be your more newcomer friendly choice, which also allows you to not be punished too hard for mistakes, and also never go oom. You will more likely die / let some die because of running through all your healing cd’s.

I can’t remember a season where one of those wasn’t the top2 heal.

The good thing about both of those healers is, that you can play with literally any class in the game and perform well, esp. on a hpala.

I was a dps player before I started getting into arenas. If you are starting / playing on your own, I would suggest you try out to start healing, since you will have an easier time finding people to play with via the lfg tool.

Thats what I did.
If you have some prem8, just play the missing piece to the dream comp
