Just write what covenant you picked for your paladin and why.
I am leveling a paladin currently lvl 58 and I don’t know what covenant I want to be.
I chose to level with World quests and bonus objectives etc and I went with Night Fae. And why is coming here.
My original main was warrior. I struggled between Venthyr or Night Fae but I ended up choosing Venthyr cuz I thought their story would be more fun and I really liked to zone and looks of everything.
I really like ardenweald and their soulshape is awesome to have. But now when I am so close to 60 i for some reason wanted to be Kyrian.
At the start of Shadowlands my lest favorite covenants was Night Fae and Kyrian but now they are the 2 I like the most on my paladin.
I like how Ardenweald looks, the elite mount is epic, the set is ok, can make it look good. The theme is nice, I like nature, animals in general.
Bastion also looks good tho and it fits paladin so nicely. The set is also ok, can make it look good. The wings on the back is really cool imo.
I heard that divine toll got nerfed is it in pve or just pvp?
What did you choose on your paladin and why?
Think that would help alot.
i am kyrian because divine toll is the most fun and i play all 3 specs.
divine toll is only nerfed in pvp. ret divine toll is not that great anyways, doesnt do much dmg and in st to rng anyways with 55% 0rproc chance for triple dmg
The value of Divine Toll for ret isn’t strictly danage, it’s instant holy power generation in aoe scenarios and instant application of the Judgement effect on up to five targets for an extra juicy Divine Storm. Even more juicy when you factor in the fat Mastery buff from Pelagos.
I prefer Kyrian because it’s the most flexible. I play a lot of prot on the side in dungeons and prot Toll is insane, instant threat on everything in the room, interrupt and silence all the casts to gather the mobs, full holy power and a fat absorb shield on top of that. The value in dungeons is just insane for a 1min cooldown.
Venthyr is another contender and I’m Venthyr on my horde paladin. Ashen Hallow is great and all, especially with tge Mad Paragon synergy but I prefer the utility of Divine Toll and the 4 min cooldown feels pretty meh.
The other two are really naff so don’t pick them for the abilities.
Want to let everyone know I went with Night Fae. Really like the mobility, the buffs are nice and the zone and rewards you get are nice too. I really love the mount
