I won’t post the actual name here, but it was my real first name. This is because I had no imagination whatsoever, despite being an adult. She was/is a paladin but not played for years because I can’t do melee … I’m always standing in the wrong place and the mob I’m trying to kill keeps moving 
My second I did give a bit of thought to and named my warrior Methos after my favourite character and the oldest living immortal in Highlander the Series. Thinking back, I think he’s the only male toon I’ve had. Sadly not played for years partly for the same reasons as my paladin and partly as my efforts at being a warrior proved that my Methos was definitely not immortal.

It was a shortening of the original names I’d use on my first MMO (Dark Age of Camelot), which was Eversmall, because it was a Lurikeen (leprechaun race), so it would (for)Eversmall.
Which then got sortened to Evers/Everz over the years.
I don’t actually remember but the topic itself amused me. I know I had a warlock and I know I renamed her to Mankrikswife at some point before changing it to something else but I’ve no clue what the first characters were called at all. I know this chars name came from an Ogre in Outland calling me a puny elf while I killed him but I can’t recall what character I was on at the time but it must have been a belf ofc.
Moving realms is the most common cause for having to rename in the past but I don’t do that any more.
My first character was a rogue named Savator. I named all my characters since some variation of that, im not very imaginative when it comes to naming characters.
The name originates from a band called Sabaton, wich was what i wanted to name my character, but it was already taken, so after some trial and error, i ended up with Savator, and it stuck with me ever since.
All my first characters had my real life name. The first “own” creation after that was Teddy, the name of my guinea pig.
I seriously can’t remember the very, very first. I just know it was a rogue then I deleted it because my mum said rogues were really hard

My VERY first character was a Tauren druid in TBC called Dairycow I believe. Ditched it in its 30s making an undead priest named BeerWolf, who later became a Tauren then a Vulpera.

My very first wow character was a female gnome mage with the pink pigtails and her name was Miikah. She was on Earthen Ring and in a guild called Crusaders of Darkness. Second character was this one and has been my main since then.
It was this one right here, Feb. 12th, 2005, started his journey in Northshire as a human warlock named Congeries.

This is my first character. Created in October 2005, with a promo code, that came inside, my best friend WoW box. It granted a couple of days, of free trial, until level 20.
This character is inspired by Diablo 2. Because in reality, I never wanted to play a Hunter, I wanted the Amazon class, from Diablo 2.
Capable of wielding, not only ranged weapons, polearms, but also, javelins and shields.
I really miss the sounds of: the bow, the arrow hitting the skeletons, tearing them in to pieces, with frost arrows

I honestly don’t remember. My first character was a human (mage I think) trial character back in Legion, got to level 5, long since deleted. Then I had a bunch of characters in early BFA, most notably a draenei priest and a gnome warrior, all sub level 40 and deleted because I changed realms.
Then I made a bunch of characters whose order I don’t remember but most notably Chronormie the gnome mage and Yourel the draenei paladin which were 2 of my 3 most played ones in BFA. Chronormie was deleted around level 60 so I could make Chronormi with a level 120 boost and a clean slate who is her spiritual successor, but Chronormie managed to reincarnate as an evoker because no one took that name on my realm until they were announced. I still have Yourel, mostly recruiting new garrison followers via the inn until I finally run out of those.
I wonder if there is any way of finding out.

Used to be a site (well, probably several) where you could look up the first time a character appeared on the servers. For Draemora that was, according to this text file, 14.05.2005.
I think after the API changes none of those sites work anymore.
This was my first character, created in Vanilla and still my main now. Originally named Amberose but i name changed to Ráevelyn in Mists due to another players behaviour at the time.
