If I have a level 60 - 70 freshly boosted character on Dragonflight - what do I need to do to unlock them?

Don’t you just have to clear the main storyline on the island now?
you have to first complethe the Mechagon whole questline (Dungeon included) and then you’ll have to do a questline to unlock them that starts at stormwind’s Embassy
I have not played retail since cataclysm.
I have a boosted dragonflight character, and that is it, I have not touched any previous expansion content what so ever.
The requirements for mechagnomes are absolutely packed with requirements from previous expansions…
The embassy tells me that I need to unlock “the mechagonian threat”… but that has requirements, which have requirements, which have requirements to access those requirements on top of requirements.
I don’t know where to start.
It is not very clear if you havent played in a decade, but if you watch n read tutorials/google stuff, you will get there. It will just be a time sink.

You can skip the dungeon by talking to the quest giver again
