What do I need to invite someone to Garrison Invasion?

For me, the main building is on level 3. If I want to recruit two people, do they also need a level 3 main building?

You just need two friends/players. You invite them to group and they go to your garrison, they click on their portrait once grouped and join the leader garrison.
