I’m much more of a competitive player/person in general, so I personally enjoy raids and mythic plus the most, and honestly it’s pretty much all I do, but I just had my brother ask me what people do in WoW nowadays besides raids and dungeons, and I quickly realized I didn’t have an answer for him, because I genuinely have no idea how other people who don’t play like me indulge themselves in this game.
So I thought I’d ask here, what do you guys do as casuals?
Play through the storyline (at least until they slam a rep gate in my face), do the dungeons that are quest related, hit reputation caps for spesific rewards I want, do the LFRs for the quest/story when they become available 50 years after the other difficulties, join friends in whatever activities they’re doing.
Solo shuffle / Transmog I want [first satyr’s spaulders] and go insane in the process. Sometimes mount runs
Change my Tmog / char appearance when bored
think I should probably do the campaign
Don’t do the campaign

A lot of stuff could be done casually. I’m not saying it’s interesting and appealing, but still:
Story
Collecting trasmogs
Collecting mounts
The big world of pokemon pet battles, which includes of lot of collecting and other stuff
Become a billionaire playing with AH and professions
Achievements. Beside current dungeons and raids all of them are pretty casual, but require other players some time. Some of them will take a lot of time and effort, but no hardcore, like fishing ones.
Participating in events (like Darkmoon Faire, Fishing one and so one)
Trying a different class
World events
Doing trading post activities
Doing fishing and cooking dailies
Quests in the old world
Farming mats
Leveling professions
Archeology
Random dungeon
Random battleground
Pet battles with capturing uncollected pets
i wont lie - as a casual i have so much to do this season that its genuinly fun .
for the first time in forever its worth to do world content even on my main !
so i started this week with doing cave events lomm farm , sniffenking , and fyrak events.
thx to this and GV rewards i got my paladin from 413 to 419 and hunter from 411 to 415.
i still have 5x hc dungeons to do on them but leaving this for muhc later in week .
when i log in again i will do the same on 4 more alts , then i will do hc dungeons spam on those alts.
most likely i wont start touching m+ untill weekend when i plan to hit KSM or close to KSM on my pala and at least 1 dungeon between 8-12 on 5 alts (spends how much gear they will get from wrold events and hc dungeons )
and then if i will have time left on monday / tuesday i will push gear a bit on my blood dk and warlock . so they hit 472 and be able to do hc dungeons.
im genuinly honestly plesently surprised how this season shaped up after complete failure of 10,0 and me making almost 4 months break from game then .
most likely i will play this whole season really a lot pushing a lot ofchars in m+ and gearing them up in before S3 which i will push even harder :0
what is most important for me is that i have really a lot of reasons to do world content stuff on those chars. finaly feeling that i can get a bit stronger each week without having to only spam m+ . oh how i missed it.
The campaign until it’s blocked by a dungeon as it is inevitably
Dailies, weeklies.
Crafting
Random battlegrounds
Pet battles
Renown/rep farming
Achievements (including soloing old content dungeons/raids)
Mount collecting
Farming mats on an alt
Basically far too much, particularly current content, leaving me stressed trying to decide what to leave out.
