So, I did the quest chain on the new zone, logged off, and then came back on the next morning, and as soon as I saw those blue exclamation marks, picked them up and started doing the quests associated with them I thought to myself, hey I´ve done this before, and immediately started feeling bored like I was doing something tedious and unrewarding.
To me the new content seems boring, stale, without any inspiration whatsoever, the overall design of the map, creatures, surroundings, gear seems souless and void of any creativity.
It´s like I waited so much time on this content draught to be back at the starting point and feel like the game as not progressed one tiny bit.
It looks way better then korthia
but you are right it’s not interesting at all
At least i don’t need to be there more then 30 minutes so that is like plus for me
when season 3 launches i can actually play dungeons instead of doing some boring zones
Terrible, no imagination other than puzzles and a new annoying time gated system. The quests involve stealing honey from angry bees which is boring, 2004 quest designers called, they want their content back.
Also I’m sick of every zone feeling like a crowded theme park, how about some huge expanses again like in the classic zones so you feel like you are actually travelling in a legitimate world rather than a theme park.
Korthia felt like a theme park as did all the covenant zones, these are supposed to be worlds, you know it would be nice to get that feeling of travelling through an actual big world again, the disconnectedness of shadowlands hasn’t helped either.
That and the forced content that has been here since Legion, where you have to do the dailies or get behind the content instead of spending your time doing other stuff I.E dungeons, xmog farm, pvp, raiding etc.
The fact that people complain about playing a game they pay for is sad, like you want to celebrate having no reason to play so you can get less value for your money? I want to play the game everyday and get my moneys worth out of it, the problem is when the content is too repetitive, boring and unoriginal which is exemplified by the bee honey fetch quest.
Dailies and world quests yes. And maybe some rares

No. But i appreciate not having to sit there for 3hrs every single day just to not fall majorly behind. Something we complained about in regards of Korthia. On mass.
I CAN sit for hours in Zereth Mortis if i want to. Camping iska yesterday alone consumed several hours until i cba anymore. But i dont have to sit there as i can catch up later if i want to by pumping more time into rare hunting. I dont get artificially screwed over by not being able to catch up on something so meaningless yet quite important as reputation for the double lego.
Zereth Mortis is objectively way better than Korthia in both aestetics and systems. Pocopoc is a nice little thing they added to give something to the zone, you’re not forced to do anything besides the chapters in the new zone. New herbs, no rare farming unless you want to min-max the reputation and the best thing in my opinion, the upgrade tree adds a lot to a zone because you actually see a difference in the world depending on your progress with the zone, korthia had nothing of that, doing dailies in korthia day 1 vs last day didn’t feel any different and you had nothing more to do either.
I really don’t understand why people even compare korthia to zereth mortis, it makes me feel they never even seen half of the things about zereth mortis and spent 5 minutes running around in it.
Being able to craft mounts and pets? That just sounds cool and I can’t wait to do it.
i would be pref to be in that boring place for like 5-10 hours and be done with it once and for all… but instead im forced to be reminded of the place a tiny bit every day.

since when daily quests and treasure hunting for some currency is good CONTENT in any game?

this zone is great when it comes to that.
I don’t need to do stuff that i don’t like
T9 be honest, I didn’t jump in it yet. I just don’t feel attracted with the zone/content, seems very similar to Korthia and Korthia stuff I was doing only on reset (Wednesday) just to finish that big quest and I move on earlier expansions.
To be hones, right now, I have more fun in Legion, WoD and Pandaria by doing some silly things there. But will give it a try this weekend and try to finish the campaign, just to open the zone.
Also I don’t like very crowded places, feels a bit anxious, it’s also one of the reasons why I skipped it on the opening. But overall, by looking the content, doesn’t feel exciting to me.
