What do YOU want Blizzard to focus on?

In my opinion there are a lot of broken systems in WoW right now and it’s unreasonable to expect Blizzard to tackle them all at the same time. So, if you could choose 1 in-game system to focus on above everything else, what would you choose? The leveling system? The professions? The end-game PvE gear progression? The PvP ranking system? The class development?

For me personally, I would choose the leveling system. Leveling a character is such an integral part of any RPG and especially an MMORPG, so it’s a real shame that WoW’s leveling system is so bad. Yes it would take a lot of work but I reckon they could definitely pull it off and really get creative with it.

So, what would you choose?

EDIT: You know, I was rather hoping this thread would grow and Blizzard would then see it and know what us the players wanted them to focus on. I guess that was too much to hope for…

Professions back, Economy fixed.
Talents/spells based on all previous xpacs to create the best class design ever, not like thge current dumpster we got.
Add meaning to those spells with class quests and pay for spells.

ALl of this fixes your leveling, end game, sociability and general game experience.
Game fixed.

getting rid of LFG so wow can get it community back

Only one thing - community

How would you fix the community?

Problems - toxicity, rage quit, none social interaction, selfish behaviour instead of team oriented and list keeps go on.

Solution -find a root cause and from where it’s started and revert back with improvement.
Example - people don’t have time so they quit group often which isnt suit them.
Cause - overwhelming content and too many difficulties so time invest required increased a lot even though getting gear is easy compare to old times. Rng factor is way high and blizzard think it’s adds flavour which doesn’t actually.
Solution - most optimum solution require brainstorm so I keep it to myself.

The only way to get rid of toxicity completely is to remove all social interaction. Many games over the years have tried to combat toxicity and none have succeeded. It is impossible to achieve.

We never get rid of toxicity - we can only control it if possible.

For me, I would get them to stop the RNG stats on gear and have set stats, so the player knows where to find the right item and is able to put together a gear set.

Also, I would bring back the old talents tree systems of old, as I loved the way you could taylor your build, by added bits from each 3 talents trees.

the scourge, anyone?

Fix all shjitty gcd (was like 0.5 sec in vanilla, now it 1.5 years). remove GCD on buff, defensive, movment. A thought through talent system.

Let PVP be unbalanced (always has been).

Blizzard need to focus on a wow2. there is no other way. the old one is just to expensive to be changed in its core. A new game would be the best solution. But even a risk. So i doubt it will be done (in the short period).

Based on the notion that I believe the changes in 8.1 will fix the issues they’re intended to fix;

Conquest points;

  • Give a token for completing the bar, 355 gear costs 1 token, higher gear costs more tokens, highest rating of that week determines amount of tokens
  • Give 1 CP per warmode kill, doesn’t work in raids
  • Warthemed WQ’s for warmode (possibly under honourbound or maybe even a whole new reputation or just spread over the current reputations) that take up the slots of existing wq’s
  • PvP kills in warmode counting towards regular wq objectives (players drop items if it’s an item collection thing, count towards a kill if it’s a kill quest), these wq’s would take up existing slots of other WQ’s, preferably only on beachhead, but that’s probably too much to ask
  • PvP(!) rewards for warmode objectives, gear and marks of honour

Gearing;

  • Atleast cap Titanforging at +10 at most remove it entirely, greatly cutting on that specific layer of RNG
  • Put dedicated sockets back on gear, remove the RNG element of them.
  • Make M+ drop gear per boss like regular dungeons, give a +30 sec time bonus for killing a boss so people have time to swap out gear
  • Remove tetriary stats, they’re so mundane they feel like they’re there just for the sake of being there, or just for the sake of creating the illusion that stats havn’t been oversimplified as hell

Content;

  • Make different sources for Azerite Power viable besides wq’s and island expeditions and emissery’s
  • Overhaul island expeditions, farmfests aren’t fun
  • Make warfront normal/heroic/mythic/pvp like they did with Island Expeditions

And lastly, altho I count this as impossible and it’s sad that this in my eyes is impossible in current wow

  • Make the server community important again (maybe my making LFG favour server local for the first 5 minutes that you’re in queue before looking at region wide)

New Specs
New Proffessions

There is nothing wore than staying with the same old boring stuff~

They could even rework some specs like they did to Survival Hunter or Demonology Warlock.

Focus on making specs fun to play again.

Focus on general fun of the game.

Focus on lessening the RNG system that makes so many quit the game.

But man this game got a bad rep now, i dont think it can repair its damage done by now.

Blizzard went from a trusted almighty company that people treated like gold to a sad clownbeing heckled by the public now.

Class development and balance first.
Making professions meaningful again second.

No thank you. I would prefer if they made the ones we already have access to fun again. Create a playstyle and then tune numbers around it.

Also, stop redesigning specs every expansion.

I would choose the removal of wf/tf and replace it with An upgrade system.

There’s no reason why those two mechanics can’t coexist together.
