New WoW Expansion? WoW Classic Cata? Diablo 4 Xpack? WoW “Arcane” style animated series? The new survival game?
When will we have druids or shamans for blood elfs.
Yes. That is what I want to hear information about. It will decide if I will spend the money on the next expansion or not immediately.
Yes!!
No!!
No!!
Meh.
No!!
So yeah… I’m pretty much only interested in WoW’s expansion.

Chris Metzen announcing the new WoW expansion
I hope they skip Cata Classic and go for MoP but I guess we’ll find out what their plans are.
I figure we’ll get some glimpse at what they may be planning for the next expansion.
I’m really curious what the digital goodies are going to be. Viewing is free this time so no ticket required.
MoP Classic would be the only classic I’d be tempted to play.
But I don’t know… It just feels like a waste of time playing any Classic.
GMs returning and Classic+
To be fair I’m only a fair weather Classic player. I have great fun with that trip down memory lane for a month or so then I leave it alone. It is just a time waste in between Retail content for me. It’s never going to hold my interest like Retail does.
So far going back each time has proven to be a case of rose tinted glasses. Wrath was my favourite expansion but going back was awful. Don’t get me wrong the game play was a vast improvement on Classic and Classic TBC but still being mana based the combat is just meh.
I was also astounded how easy the fight seemed compared to how I remembered them but I was much newer to the game back then, I swapped from Lock to Pala in Wrath (back in the day).
Cata is the first expansion that made me take a break from WoW for a couple of years so it really doesn’t appeal at all. I came back for Mists.
I’m excited for BlizzCon, the atmosphere even from a viewer point of view is great.
tbh if they don’t announce new expansion with a date i’ll take a pretty long break from the game. other than that i don’t have any expectations
I always think giving a date so early on is a bad idea. It’s much better when they aren’t forced to release something before it’s ready just to meet some arbitrary date they previously released.
I took a break near the end of WotLK because I was just very bored with the game (I had completely stopped raiding by that point - in TBC I helped out the guild every now and then at least). I didn’t play Cata and I didn’t play MoP.
When I came back in WoD, I played through MoP and adored it all; so I’d love to experience it in a ‘more true way’.
Oh yeah! For sure!
what is this fuss about mop lately LMAO
its LITERALLY the same as dragonflight, the exact copy
everyone is oneshotting everyone and everyone is op (except rets who die the moment the gates open)
warriors dont die <35% because second wind heals them while having infinite mobility
mw monks spamming sphere sphere sphere sphere sphere
A lot of people like the gameplay and specs from back then.
Some sort of World of Warcraft overhaul that involves repairing the social experience and the old world. I don’t really care if that means Classic+ or a set of changes to retail, potentially with an old world revamp.
I suspect I’m not going to get it, and won’t be disappointed because I don’t necessarily expect it, but I want to see it. What I expect is another expansion with 4-5 zones, 10 hours of levelling, more dailies, more M+, more raids, and a new arena map or two. Cause that’s how it’s always gone.
I would also love me some StarCraft but I know that won’t happen. Literally, I know some of the people who left over it being cancelled.
I wonder if they’ll say anything about the survival game they were working on.
Sounds like you’re speaking from a PvP PoV.
To me none of what you say matters in the slightest.
So, I suppose there’s your answer.
and what was that for a pve player? a raid? no mythic+? is it fun to raidlog every week? XD
Well, most of those spells weren’t that useful in PvE, either.
MoP was just overcomplicated. It’s exactly like Dragonflight on the class design front honestly, and it made me quit high end play from 5.2 to 6.2, so that’s a good while there. Spent the time playing SC2 for the most part.
