What does the ES: mean when u kill an enemy player and see ES: Scout for example?

I play on German client and have no clue and im just curious. Never thought about it till now. Does it mean enemy soldier maybe? Lmk pls.

Not sure if itā€™s due to german region language but everytime I defeat enemy players in PvP it comes out to me as ā€˜HK scout/privateā€™ in a yellow format.

Honorable Kill in English. I donā€™t speak any german but I just typed it in a translator and there are words that fit and would be Eā€¦ Sā€¦

ES= Ehrenhafter Sieg = Honorable Kill.

IĀ“m fairly certain what comes after that is the ā€œrankā€ of the player you killed.

Yeah thats it. The rank was obvious. When its H K: in english then its obviously honorable kil* in english and therefore ehrenhafter sieg for E S: in german. Makes perfect sense. Tyvm for helping me out people.

Ehm , just out of curiosity, am I missing something and can expect a ban on Monday, or why does ist seem like people are self-censoring the same words I typed and Otto the Censor didnĀ“t complain about (Eā€¦Sā€¦, Kil*, etcā€¦) ?

I didnā€™t type them out because I didnā€™t know how to spell correctly, I just typed Honorable Kill in a translator, looked up possible words for each, saw those that matched, tabbed out here and typed my answer. Without copy pasting and after seeing the word once that E word spelling was eluding me.

There wouldnā€™t be any reason to ban you when the words are used in game.

Ah, ok, it just seemed a bit funny and I wanted to make sure, not that I suddenly get mass reported for typing ā€œkillā€ (because even ā€œunaliveā€ is now somehow a ā€œthis person is evilā€ buzzword)ā€¦

Actually with ā€œSiegā€ it would even be somewhat understandable, because thatĀ“s the first part of a well known NSDAP slogan when followed by another word starting with H that, standing alone, is also completely innocentā€¦ but combined they become something very much ā€œnot-so innocentā€, and absolutely bannable just about everywhere :beers:
