What dungeons do you think will be in Season 3?

Given where we THINK season 3 maybe set (K’aresh), what dungeons do people feel will make an appearance (leaving aside the new dungeon we will get).

Anything with a heavy void or ethereal theme is likely in my opinion but they’re will also be dungeons that don’t match that theme, simply to provide a relief.

Seat of the Triumvirate from Legion is probably 100% chance. It was barely played at the time it came out in Legion and it simply touches on too many of the probable themes NOT to be included. I’d be more surprised if it wasn’t.

Shadowmoon Burial Grounds fits the theme but has already been in a mythic+ rotation relatively recently. They could go either way on deciding to use it.

The big question for me is Mana Tombs. It’s a dungeon that is absolutely on theme, it even has Dimensius, but it would need a complete rebuild to be a modern type dungeon. I’d say unlikely but possible.

Any other thoughts?

My guess is:

Seat of the Triumvirate
Shrine of the Storm
Tazavesh (any part)
any 4 from TWW

EDIT: Mana-Tombs are more likely than Shrine of the Storm now that I think of it

Since S3 will be the last season of TWW, I believe it´s safe to assume that the pool will be all TWW Release dungeons + Operation: Floodgate.

Sonce none of those are heavily void /ethereal themed, he patch-appropriate void flair will then likely come in the form of the seasonal Affix.

This makes sense.

On another note: I HATE that heroic dungeons are affected by this dungeon pool as well.
That was a bad, bad call by Blizzard.

Considering there’s achievements to do ALL of them as various roles leads me to believe it’s some nonsensical player retention thing having them staggered…

If they’re not all available to be done come the next expansion you know it’ll be some sort of FoS.

As far as themes go, I’d say:

Darkheart Thicket - Nightmare was created by the Void
Shadowmoon Burial Grounds
Grim Batol
Seat of the Triumvirate

But I could be wrong.

Dungeons I’d like them to add, which fits the Void theme:
Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom from WoTLK
Blackrock Caverns from Cata
Mana Tombs from TBC

I prefer dungeons that feel like adventures and have multiple paths, so I suggest:

  • Violet Hold (Dalaran - Northrend)
  • Violet Hold (Dalaran - Legion)
