Hey y’all,
So I’ve been playing WoW about 6 months and Shadowlands will be my first expansion launch!
Apologies if this is a really obvious question, but what exactly is the difference between pre-patch and the release of the expansion? I am assuming not all features are available with pre-patch?
When will BfA effectively die/be over (e.g. azerite traits, corruptions, M+ etc), with pre-patch or not until the actual release?
Final question xD I am assuming you need to have pre-purchased Shadowlands to join the pre-patch?
1.u dont need to buy sl to participate in prepatch
2.No max level available(60) ,120 just changed to 50 lvl
3.No exp specific powers and features
4.corruptions will be off on prepatch launch, azerite and essences will still work to some lvl(like legion legendaries up to 115)
Pre-patch usually includes some new questlines that will lead up to new expac, but not into the actual expac, maybe they add some other features aswell and things we as players can’t use, like preperations for the expac to make the process of installing and use faster, aren’t they gonna add more customizations in pre-patch?
So no, you don’t have to purchase the expac, but if you don’t, you just won’t get to shadowlands and be stuck in BfA (and everything before BfA).
