Do they need addons to be played? No
why wow radiing or dungeons is so addon dependent?
can someoene justify the need for all these millions addons that exist?

What does the preference of players/groups have to do with the game?
At this point the devs are probably too lazy or not innovative enough to come up with new ways to design bossfights so why bother with new things. Kind of a if it works don’t touch it situation.
Not a fan of addons myself though.
i killed many mythic bosses without any addon…so ,no you dont need them.

Or could it possibly be that you aren’t getting invited due to these reasons
- You should most likely get more score before applying to 15s
- The few 15s you have are boosted so they can’t count on you actually knowing what to do and performing enough

I’ve had access to a console of each generation from when my older brother had a NES and several PCs over the years, so yes.
True however many games aren’t made with addons or mods in mind, Blizzard decided this was going to be an option for the game.
Its because WoW has become highly performance orientated, because of this players are using addons to monitor their/other people’s performance and giving them info on things like boss mechanics.
This being said addons still aren’t required in order to play the game although you may be asked to have certain ones to do raids/M+ with certain guilds. If you would rather not then there are always other guilds/communities which won’t ask this of you.
You could also ask Blizzard to improve their own ability notification/telegraphing systems, other games do this better than Blizzard currently do.
Those using them will justify their use, those not using them will justify that too.
The biggest problem is the design philosophy at Blizzard making some players feel like it is a must in order to complete content.
Reading your post fills me with enthusiasm to play wow without any addons.
It runs so smoothly and quickly without addons. Sometimes it feels like playing a brand new game.

Because the game is designed around Addons, and creating addons, tweaking, tuning your game and user interface is fun.
If a LFR or LFD group kicks you because you don’t have Addons, believe me, you don’t want to be in that group in the first place xD

You dont have to have addons to play the game.
There are standard announcements intergrated in oryginal game allready and the game given most dengerous spells a cast bar on target as well. Addons are extensions of these mechanics to train players faster. At the end of the day everybody who can breather and walk in the same time learn bosses mechanics by heart and dont even look at these anymore and put their foot where the mark is to make the dance every time more or less in the same spot. With addon or without.
There is many players with disabilities that thise addons helps a ton so remmember about them.
Addon can save you alot of leg work like marking players. Do you use in game marking? I bet you do. What the point of click ing that menu and a players to put mark on every time when addon can make that for you and you can focus on the fight.
Plus dont blame the game.
Its us that 1st came up with this idea and because people play in diffrent levels addons help to reduce that gap. Nobody like to admit to mistake. Its natural. Addon show that and you dont have to wonder why you wiped. You can pin point the problem straight away and work towards fixing them.

Yeah mate but thats utter bull. Not to mention one would have to track it. Which they dont. Also any normal raider stops paying attention to DBM entirely at some point.

the entire game is designed around assumption of addons, anyone who says otherwise is too scared or incompetent to try the game without them.
Youve no choice, get addons of dont progress beyond lfr raiding. Thats the game now.
get them, stick to lfr and mythic +7 or delete the game … thems your options

To be honest I have weakauras and dbd (only for the timers which a weakauras modifies) and I never look at them lol. Then again, you can look at my progress…
But I don’t think they’re needed at all. Just convenience.
