hi everone, i want to know what are you playing while not playing wow, and what the games is about.
for myself i’m playing remnant from the ashes during wow become more fun or worth playing it.
remnant from the ashes is a shooter rpg between diablo and dark soul genre.
diablo like are random map and event onto the games, in the games we have 3 difficulty mode normal,hard and nightmare.
talent tree system and kind of rune system that modify the weapon in appearence and adding a ability into it and we have 4 realm to venture and one of them is not mandatory to complete the games.
darksoul like due that we have difficulty like darksoul fightning boss and the feeling of reward after vanquishing the boss, and we have a potion system like a heart with a maximum we can carry to give back our health or revive player.
in the games we have puzzle, replayability of the games, fightning a boss one way give a certain item or trait or mod(rune like system), or fightning the same boss another way give something else.
an exemple is the ent boss you can shoot in hes leg to remove a abiltiy on it and by doing so you receive a different reward then simply shooting it in the head or somewhere else but into the leg’s.
we have a upgrade system for armor and weapon, most item goes into lvl 20, certain item (weapon) have 10 lvl but ask more item to gather but have a certain mod you can’t remove.
each armor helm,chest,and legs have a set that can be mix matched and each armor have a set bonus.
each ring and amulet are unique equip but each have a passive ability or you need to trigger them to have their perk.
each map is random one friend can have dungeon you don’t have and vice versa, we can reroll our campaing or using adventure mode and setting the difficulty to adventure into specific realm.
some trait can only be obtainable playing with other’s, exemple one trait reduce friendly fire but for acquiring it you need to kill a player in a specefic event into a specific realm to acquire it.
the only thing i don’t love about it is the communication we are only able to communicate ingame with voice chat and nothing else(yes you can use discord or other) because we don’t have a chat system we can write.
the story suck too but the rest is good.
