What good is Malufrion for?

All the night elves were pretty good at being hot a while back, the alliance are still pretty mad about it

Another one whom, didnt play wc3?

Also… Malfurion has had presence in every expension to date and I do like them to keep it that way.

And what exactly did he do in WC3? It was mostly about Maiev and Illidan in that game too.

like you said. He’s present. But it’s mostly honorary presence than being a main character that does something.

You really should play the game and find out you are wrong…

I did. The story is about Maiev’s point of view trying to hunt down illidan.

And just like ALWAYS when it comes to those two (Malfurion and tyrande), one of them was in trouble and the other one had to save. Which surprisingly enough, this time, the one being in trouble was Tyrande.

Yeah, You didnt really play WC3… lol

He is a decent character WITHOUT Tyrande. She seems to turn him into a whiny blubbering mess, evident throughout the entire history of WoW. However, if he loses her, I very much doubt he will become stronk independent Malfurion.

ok sure. You know better than me what i play or don’t play.

Well be does bully trolls by pinning them up against a tree and stealing there bwomsamdi beads. Someone needs to fill that slot.

“Tyraaanduh!” even Nathanos mocked his cheesiness. Which was hilarious.

As for what “he’s good for”, he’s the NE druid king and they’re probably all busy trying to figure out how to regrow their tree from the ashes and chasing off goblins out to make some money on charcoal.

In the Emerald Nightmare book he had a plan set in place to free himself. Tyrande almost messed it up with her teenage ninja turtle attitude.

They remade that in Legion but this time he had no plan and was waiting for rescue. Of course Tyrande does the right thing and does not rescue him, instead sends the players to do it.

So yeah, Malfurion which was a pretty good character got shafted to make Tyrande look good. But hey, the Horde can empathize with that since we just had the same thing done to us too.

Apparently players “dislike” everything that is not like they want to see them play exactly how they want , act like they want .
I wouldn’t dare pass on some iq/eq tests around here =))) .

He’s a wise character.
I like him tbh.

Tyrande seems to be the more aggressive side he’s the balance she needs.

In Warcraft 3 he’s the one that speaks to Tyrande about cooperating with the outsiders.

If it wasn’t for him I doubt that the Orcs, Humans and Night Elves could had cooperated. Also it seems he was the one that set up the trap for Archimonde.

I liked to quest along side him and Velen during Legion.
They remind me of Cairne Bloodhoof.

It seems in our days, everything that is Warmonger = good.
Everything that is calm and wise = boring, bad.

Cheers.

“Leagues above tyrande”

Regular tyrande definitely. Night warrior tyrande not so much^^

Tyrande is currently more on par with the likes of Sylvanas

only whiny hordes dislike him because he can destroy them all while afking.

The dislike for him mostly stems from how his stupid actions led to his easy capture and the eventual death of Ysera.

And then as a horde player you’re forced to do whatever Tyrande asks you to save him.

I want to know how the Alliance players would feel if in SL they met with Sylvannas and she starts driving them around with quests to save Nathanos.

Agreed. If anything the only person who that Val’sharah thing was bad for was Tyrande. Malfurion was an illusion meanwhile Tyrande was doing the whole “MAAAAAAALFUUUURIOOOOON MAIIII BEEEELOOOOOOVEDDD” as herself, no illusion.

I guess Blizzard just left him out of screen in BfA because Horde players complained to much on doing quests with him in Legion.

When most of the open world and lore quests are so easy it requires very little attention, usually the level of attention people have doing them is so low Blizzard could’ve put the Lich King voice on Malfurion in those quests and the players wouldn’t notice it.

World of Warcraft players have a serious lack of attention, it’s been like this since Vanilla, i mean, Classic raids were difficult back then, that requires an unbelievable lack of awareness.

He has been Tyrande’s underdog since WC3 basically the introduction of Night Elves, I believe the druidic nature makes him less confronting in most cases.

But only time I really hyped about Malf was WoT, striking terror to any Horde that glimpsed him on battlefield.

A single druid that held the Horde advance by himself, a Druidic leader who spearheaded the firelands invasion and fought Legion twice, go take your Virgin Nathanos and wipe snot from his nose.
