What grinds my gears today: Elitists

In addition, you can do World Quests in Warmode to rack up Bloody Tokens and then buy equipment with those, which scale to +9 ilvl in PvP than Honor gear.

Ok, so that’s how it’s done. I had no idea. I thought I needed to get out there and kill someone, which is fairly troublesome without gear as a holy priest so I just dropped the idea.
I can do that, thanks.

Important before you spend any Bloody Tokens: Like Conquest, they have a cap that is increased every week by around 675. Right now it’s at 1350 I think, so either you can buy a 1-hand weapon, or maybe 2 armor items depending on their cost. So you won’t be able to fully gear up with Bloody Tokens.

While in Dornogal, enable Warmode. Check every zone of the 6 (Isle of Dorn, Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, Azj’Kahet, Undermine and K’aresh) to see if there are any PvP Warmode quests that reward equipment. While rare, they can exist. Sometimes they may reward 500 Bloody Tokens (but not beyond the cap). Sometimes Gold. Regardless, every world quest while in Warmode will reward 100 Bloody Tokens (not beyond the cap of course), even the Pet Battle ones, and all gold rewards are increased by 10%. So if you don’t find any PvP WQs that reward Bloody Tokens, just do 14 random WQs right now and you’ll be at the cap.

Sometimes being human isn’t enough.

In my example, there isn’t a difference between the elite and the elitists.
Because this entire post is about a casual environment.

If the “feedback” was purely based on a ranked/competitive environment, then the “feedback” would be fair and welcome.

What grinds my gears is reading ppl complain of other peoples end game content that doesnt affect themselves or call other people by blanket statements and names from their content in the game like calling us “toxic rated players” or “elitists” if they self dont like the concept or participate on it.

If dont like rated gameplay then dont play it. I’m not here asking blizz to remove unrated content either cause I dont care about them and they dont affect me. Now it’s your turn. Play your game like you want and let others do the same. It’s pretty simple.

Trial by fire baby!

That is kinda the point here…
I am entering a casual environment, and getting bombarded with negative comments from people that SHOULD be, or IS playing rated content, but decide to enter casual content to then harass players in that environment.

I myself have been known to raid hardcore from time to time, or push in Arenas (Although i suck at PvP).
I my self have played classic now and then.

Just means i have experienced all of them.

It seems like rather than read the actual post here, most people just tok offence to being called “elitist” rather than actually read the post and what it is about, then just go down to comment what a horrible person i am too call negative people “Elitists”.

I think casual PvP content needs better onboarding / expectations. Going into BGs in levelling greens / multiple patch old gear when you can buy a full aspirants set with a pittance of gold shouldn’t be a thing.

Your first mistake was entering any kind of pvp content with chat enabled. Your second mistake was to reply.

I’ll go the other way and suggest that any non-PvP gear should scale to ilvl697 when in unrated. This is 10 ilvl below crafted and Honor gear, which means that it doesn’t devalue them (as much) and simultaneously does not render undergeared players useless (unless of course the opponent has 723)

I think we could do both.

I believe that it is crucial that the general tone change.
Otherwise I seriously believe that we will kill ourselves at some point.
Just a game? No, this is us talking. That’s not a game, it’s communication.
Hence I think a lot on how this tonal change can come to be.
Yes, I actually do believe it heralds the apocalypse.

To me in PvP it’s not really the elitists, it’s the braindead complainers and their accompliances.
Like on a BG “report our healers” and I’m like what? Did you even see what’s happening? The moment I get close to the objective I get jumped by 3-5 enemies and you do nothing to help or even try…
and when I tell them what’s what, they just say I’m the mean bad guy and I will get banned…LOL
Imagine protecting a toxic cuck who just tries to project his frustration of getting stomped on others.

Hah, I had a BG today where each side had only 1 healer. I even typed it before the match started in Instance chat. Then at some point during the match someone typed something along the lines of “Where tf are our healers?” and even later another “The Horde must have afk healer”.

Some people with large mouth have small attentinon span.

But you had to tell everyone else. Did your nose grow.

But on topic…

Gear inflation gives a false sense of skill. Most players enter content when they’re well over geared for it. With huge ilevel jumps and the ability to upgrade it, some players think they’re world first material.

In reality their dps is huge but for their gear it’s below average and they never died, not because they mastered mechaincs but the over geared healer kept them alive.
