What happen to GM

Hey

I have been trying to talk to blizzard support I have wrote tickets in game and out and I miss the days when you could talk to real person even wrote to you in game so they could help now when even I get a reply just feels like an auto reply chat GPT not even helping you and some question or problems get no respond. sometimes I been sent to the forums with no help even had replays talking about other games I’m not even playing

blizzard used to have really good Support now feel like it does nothing now . even how you write tickets now is not very helpful now to get help and finding out the problem. and always you want me to fill out a survey when you don t have the respect to help me with the problems I am having

we used to have live chat skype and number to call them. you want players to be nice and respectful then treat us the same

I would guess your problem is one they cannot help with.

I guess its related to his other post, about wanting to remove class racial abilities.

Thats not something a GM will ever get into a conversation with you about, because the GMs are just support staff. They don’t make decisions about the game, only managment does. Nor do they do any coding, only developers do. Nor do they take feedback, thats what the feedback tool is for.

Hi,

I think I get what you mean. As this is how it always go:

  • You create and send in your ticket.
  1. You get a suspicously close to automated response, telling you to go to other sources like wowhead to find a solution (that is hillarious depending on the problem).
  • You respond to your ticket, send it in.
  1. Maybe, a human, kinda responds to your question, but need you to readress what you already said in your ticket.
  • You respond with the same text, send it in.
  1. A GM tells you they will look into it, nothing happens for a couple of days to a week.
  • Your ticket is closed, you reopen it,
  1. "Hi this is GM blahblah, I am head of blahblah, does not address the issue at hand.
  • Your ticket is locked.

So…

  • You make a new ticket, of the same problem, refering to the old problem.
  1. You get the “go to wowhead” answer.
  • You continue on this new ticket thread…
  1. Repeat previously steps.
  2. You finally get to a person who goes “Oh, sorry, I looked into this. I did this for you, have a great day!”
  • You close and mark the ticket as solved.

Trick is to just keep at it, fight the system. As it clearly has been made to be clunky and difficult on purpose. They do not want you to contact them, them being blizzard company. GMs simply do not have time to respond to all the posts in depth. My guess they got a quota and must do 60 answers a minute, or get a mark up. So the poor people working got a really bad day, every day.

Livechats or calls - while very customer friendly. Was very cost inefficient from their point of view (the company). Just ignoring us and having us give up, is a lot more efficient and cheaper. Who cares if the player quits in frustration, am I right? Cause you know it, they know it and everyone knows it; we ain’t gonna quit. Just complain and whine about it.

It is what it is.

Hey Exporrt,

Making an appeal for a suspension doesn’t mean that it will be overturned, but that customer support will double check what happened, and verify if a mistake was made, for example.

Creating several tickets or claiming that your account was compromised (which is something that we can easily verify) will not change the answer.
