What happened to this? It seems so different to how I remember it being.
All it is now is just people fighting down the middle road taking flags and depending on how good one side is pushing the other back to their base.
What happened to the race? And the ore collection thing and all the other events that used to happen around the map?
Did they strip all that away and just make it a simple control flags down main road and kill tower boss bg?
Pretty much. The classic version from WoD is now a brawl.
People actually enjoyed Ashran?
I remember not even touching it in WoD because the queues took forever.
Now it’s just a huge brawl in mid.
I did touch it in WoD. I earned the “slayer of the kal’dorei” and “manslayer” titles.
I still hated it though. It’s boring. It’s not even real PvP, it’s just a big AoE zergfest.
Just spam chain lightning, 0 brain involved. It’s basically PvE.
Its better THIS way, then if they just made it disappear completely, like they did strand of the ancients (rip in pieces 2008-2010)
basicly ashran got dumbed down. All events got made useless and now its just a moshpit. The one with the most kills wins. it went from an eternal battle to a 30 minute ebg
Rep’ing in Ashran was so much easier in WoD, now it’s a lot slower, I cba doing it for the mount with my Alliance Mage… wasted 100k on Medallions to discover it didn’t raise the rep…
