Back in bfa, the outside world was horde land.

…now, i get hunted, cant even set foot out of the city w/o pvp gear, i havent even seen the conquest chest up close in 3 months of playing and i rarely manage to loot any rares/elites, because there’s a organized grp there kiling.

So…i get ganked on my lowbie warlock used for herbing and putting crafting orders one too many times…

…i put wm off and literally not even after a minute of flying i run across a horde 20-30 man group doing some unimportant stuff i havent even heard about (camp moving event idk what).
If they put wm on they would mop the floor with the whole zone.

What happened?

Sounds to me like the server became horde dominated.

Horde got weaker, tell them to turn it on and increase our bonus back to 30℅

I would rather 1v3 than 1v2 if it means my bonus will be 30℅ instead of 20℅

There are not enough zugs around nowadays, what’s wrong with you, you are the Horde, equivalent of China in our world.

Vague recollection of this but I think Blizzard buffed bonuses for Alliance players causing all horde players to turn off warmode, the open world is cross-server in clusters with some other servers but with horde on average not even using war mode you’re just going to get deleted.

It’s the same on Tarren Mill, I recall going for an air drop on War Mode and there was about 50 alliance and I was the only Horde player, Tarren Mill is one of the most populated horde only servers, but that is irrelevant in War Mode, nobody on Horde is playing War Mode.

Back in BfA I exclusively played in Warmode.
Back in Shadowlands I put it on from frustration.
In the first levelling zone I was constantly attacked by Alliance, but since I was decked out in BiS gear I could stand my ground.

Not until the vampire area was I pestered with so much Alliance that I had to do that bloody escort quest a well documented 14 times until succes, because on the way I would have to fight 3 to 4 Alliance where most of them ressurected and came back from revenge.

2 years later I still get PTSD of getting sapped while my quest escort just happily walked on.

I believe because Alliance get a weekly quest for epic gear where they have to kill Horde players, the Horde does not get this. So Horde is lesser interested to form groups for PvP.

Today Alliance would even camp the Dragonscale Expedition base camp… literally killing anyone who tried to buy a shovel.
Don’t make me started on camping people fishing in fishing hole KEK
