What happened to spell batching?

A couple months ago they said they were testing a 20ms spell batch instead of the 200ms we had.
I don’t think that change ever reached the test server.
Is it in TBCC?
To me the game feels just as laggy as before.
Can hunters FD/trap effectively now?

You don’t need to FD/trap anymore

Why? Can traps be used in combat now?
Bad example then.
Question still remains: is spell batching still there or not?
To me it feels like it is but I haven’t done any PvP in several months and that’s where you feel it the most.

lol, like everything in your post is wrong :smiley:

It was 400 ms, and they changed it to around 10 ms. It was on the PTR in Classic for a long time. Then it was released and active the last weeks before pre-patch and is still active and I guess will be in TBC (wouldn’t make sense to put the 400 ms back in). So, I guess the lag is on your side. What’s your latency?

I’m leveling a rogue right now and the game still feels very “batchy”
Like sometimes if I spam sinister strike and stop, my toon will still go ahead and cast 2 sinister strikes in a row even though I stopped spamming before the first one went off.
Dunno if this is clear.
I have fairly high latency, 50ms but other games including retail play fine.

Hmmm, deactivate vertical sync?
System -> Graphics (upper right)
I noticed some lag when pre-patch was released and it was due to vertical sync being enabled as default…
