What happened to the Horde

I like that the Horde evolved with time going from a single Warchief to a Council but they’re still being held by back Blizzard and their unwillingness to have the world be a place where “time” is a thing.

So on the one hand things are changing but on the other hand they’re staying exactly the same and it doesn’t really work that well.

Also with Suramar available why would any of them stay in stinky Orgrimmar?!

Snif

Because in stinky Orgrimmar, you don’t actually notice the stink, because it’s always there, and it’s on you, so it’s just normal.

You bring the Orgrimmar lot to Suramar and the stench will be unbearable as it contrasts with the subtle, yet eye-opening scents and hues of civilised living.

I have a better idea, want a Legion road trip? Why don’t they all go to Thunder Totem? It has tents, and hides, and wood, and mud, it’s like a holiday, but familiar. I also think many Horde races (not including Belf, Forsaken and possibly Zandalari) would be a bit confused by Suramar having pavement which is meant to be used.

Surely a skilled magi could modify a portal to automatically send the savages to Thunder Totem and the civilized to Suramar.

That said, Thunder Totem is also underused and pretty cool.

Possibly

No I agree,id much rather stay in Nagrand then having to suffer from the petty squarrles between humans, elfs and…dog people?:stuck_out_tongue:

Their main problem seems to me was that didn’t want to elect a chief that would better their lives, nope. They kept going for someone that would give them another pointless war.

They created a warchief system, emphasis on the word war.

Dude, you really need to stop playing. You’re literally subscribed and spouting out that rubbish.

Genuinely concerned because someone who spouts stuff like this

Is more than likely speaking from their own experience. So put the game down, stop subbing to the “big bad company” and go do something else.

You are red Alliance now. Welcome to da club

The true horde died when they added Blood Elves to it.

And the Alliance died due to that aswell, the today’s situation the faction is having is a indirect consequence of that and many years of negligence from Blizzard.

You think I’m an ignorant savage
And you’ve been so many places
I guess it must be so
But still I cannot see
If the savage one is me
How can there be so much that you don’t know
You don’t know

Orchestral music begins, mane tosses playfully with a gust of wind

You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a naaaaame

You think the only races who are people
Are the races who look and think like you
But if you walk the hoofsteps of a tauren
You’ll learn things you never knew, you never knew

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the Mulgore moon?
Or asked the plains hyena why he grins?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
A large gust of wind causes a tremendously intense splaying of the mane
CAN YOU PAINT WITH ALL THE COLORS OF THE WIIIIIIIND?

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they’re worth

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The kodo and the strider are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends

How high does the pine tree grow?
If you cut it down, then you’ll never know

And you’ll never hear the wolf cry to the Mulgore moon
For whether we are flesh or furry skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain
We need to paint with all the colors of the wind

You can own the Earth and still
All you’ll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wiiiiiiiiind.

You need to have a special kind of disability if you think that people nowadays still leave the alliance for the racials. Its the amount of players why people are leaving.

Also alliance and horde both have strong pvp and pve racials that can force people to play certain races.

? i remember time
it’s called Wrath of the lich king when HORDE storm the northrend with garosh as general or whatever he was in that time
i remember time it’s called cataclysm when HORDE conquers their enemies with garosh as WARCHIEF
And i remember one time it’s called mists of pandaria
when HORDE betrayed GAROSH…
so ye what the actual F happend to he HORDE

That is a fairly standard answer made by people who don’t know what the Horde is. Let’s turn that round on you. Why do -you- think the Blood Elves don’t belong in the Horde? If one of the first words out of your mouth are ‘Savage’ or ‘Tribal’ I have a very large dictionary you will get a slap with like a naughty puppy and asked to look up those terms.

Go on, tell us why?

i love that song

He probably used item restoration service afterwards - that explains everything.

I think Tolkien is still on the blame for that, he warped oru preception of Elves…
Even WoW’s Elves were a bit isolationist, snobish, xenophobe and all around jerks, and needed a little twist on the arm and a favor to call in to bother about the rest of the world…
They are actually more fitting among the “monesters” than anyone else
Blood elves somehow managed to regain their lost aspect, behavior; the one that based on the Sidhe fae and the Aos Sí and to an extent the Dökkálfar and Ljósálfar from norse mythology and… well the behavior and mindset the High Elves had since their self-exile from Kalimdor and had it for several thousands of years…
But somehow, people only see Legolas and Alleria’s team (tho’ Aleria always was a savage mean killing machine kinda girl…)

Traitors, pandas, vulperas. This is what has happened.

Tolkien did nothing wrong. What was your perception of Elves before Tolkien? Hm?

Personally I’m not the best audience, because its kinda my job to know history and mythology and I’m well aware what and “Elf” or “Fae” is/was
But before 1954 if someone said “Elf” the people by intsinct shrivelled and old fears surfaced, and still many parts of the world, they turn their coats insideout when had to go out to the night, at corssroads, becasue thats makes you invisible to the elves, or put out milk in plates for tribute, to be left alone, or nail a horseshoe above the door, because cold iron or iron in general keeps the Lords and Ladies, the Fae folk, the Elves away
They are/were NASTY, the top of the foodchain, haning out with orcs and trolls and such, their courts were the courts of Nightmares
They made us want what we can’t have and what they give us is worth nothing and what they took was everything and all there was left for us was the cold hillside, and emptiness, and the laughter of the elves
And the old folks, the elders, the superstitious still remeber them that way, the monsters who stole your child and left a changeling, who tormented human kind and rarely, very rarely were friendly…
Elves before Tolkien were something you had to avoid, to be afraid, keep traditions alive, or they come back

This is what happened to the Horde:

They stormed through the Dark Portal and was about to win the war if it wasn’t for their own infighting. Then the orcs got killed off or sent to internment camps - and got completely failed by their writers.

Instead of having them pacified and integrated into the Alliance society - they got pacified by themselves and escaped just to be the base of the current ridiculous two-faction system which makes no sense whatsoever just to satisfy warmongering players.
