I remember one time… when the Horde was great. It’s called Burning Crusade
You have the savage Orcs and Tribal Trolls. You have the zombies lead by an amazing zombie elf who wishes death to the living. You have the Taurens who put fear into the alliance because they looked massive and scary on the outside, and… well let’s just ignore the inside. You have the Blood elves without the Sunwell doing anything to survive, such as sucking mana from creatures, brainwashing protesters in silvermoon, and sucking magic from a Naruu. Fel Green eyes.
What happened… what happened to the Horde?
Now it’s a council, with Furry races like Pandas and Foxes who scream “UwU”
Undead scattered in Ogrimmar, without a leader… well soon they will say “for the light lady” instead of the Dark lady.
And Disney Princess Elves with Tiaras who no longer need to suck magic and do evil stuff to survive.
No wonder Alliance are moving Horde, it is clearly turning into a better Alliance than what the Alliance is. And the Horde? Gone…

Horde transformed over time. First they ask for your time, then ask for your money, after that they ask for your life and so on, family, food, coffee, etc …
As a consumer your should realize that the initial story was written by the people for the people. When you accept the corporate GREED as your Lord and Savior that’s what you got instead.
Consumer MUST be self educated otherwise you fall into the abyss of ignorance.

So whats your enlightened reason for accepting the corporate greed?

The Horde got Zandalari trolls. For that alone I am more happy about the current vs old Horde. Stay away from de voodoo!
Thats just not true.
There is a weird trend of people feeling they have to play’’ with the best’’ and because of trivial racials leave to play for the horde.
There are millions of people playing an Orc when they really want to be a Worgen.
That being said.
The horde lost 4 major wars. They have to change. The warchief thing obviously wasnt working for them.

The only good thing to come out of the new Horde (or should I say, new alliance)
Zandalari naturally Fit the Horde. I’m happy about them.

The sunwell was partially functioning during TBC already because of Anveena knowing what she was in reality. Also they didnt just suck “magic” from a naaru but Light in particular. A reason why they sent Paladin initiates to M’uru.
Also even after they got their Sunwell back that didnt really change. They are still sucking everything that moves. Its just a power source for them next to their addiction.
They are still “savage” and the Darkspear most certainly are still tribal.
They never put fear into the alliance because of their peaceful nature. Unless the Warchief specifically send them into the battle the Alliance didnt have to fear them whatsoever. Which with Thrall as warchief was very very unlikely. And after Garrosh took over and killed Baine this was equally unlikely.
First and foremost the forsaken cared about their own survival. And their revenge on Arthas. If they would have went through with their “death to the living” then they wouldnt even have survived Vanilla and received the same fate as Varimathras and Putress did during Wotlk.
They have two. Calia and Voss.
That “light lady” is also their rightful ruler. Or they stick with Voss who is anything but a “light lady”.
They never had to do evil stuff. Otherwise they wouldnt have sided against Kael’Thas the moment they saw what he was up to despite offering them a more than endless energy source.

I think your memory is betraying you… the Horde NEVER was great
Pathetic, yes
Unrealistic? Totally
Bunch of loosers? Yep, checks out
Just look at them!
A bunch of failed invaders, who lost their mind and home planet then in the camps the will to live… handfull of them were saved by an Orc raised by Humans, so he was mostly civilized with some naive ideals.
The Darkspear cannibals were so hated by their OWN people, the rest of the Gurubashi tribes they exiled them basically (chased away, they escaped some genocide there) and then one lone naga and her team of… *sigh * Murlocks tormented and almost destroyed them
These two tattered handfull of remnants somehow escaped on a few ships and washed ashore…
…to meet the Tauren! Yaay, another race on the brink of extinction, thanks to the Centaur. But okay, they are noble and all, and the three banded together to wage a mini-war before the Legion landed on their head
Okay, lets count that a minor mircale, they not died out a few short year after - you know, from the lack of viable population
So these survivor tried to live in peace
Soooooo savage orcs… they fled to the opposite end of the world just to survive
So the Blood Elves, ~10% of the not that numerous Elven civilization that survived the undead joined with their mortal enemies (invading orcs and Trolls, and I doubut an avarage Elf would notice, hey this is a Gurubashi not an Amani! okay, peace. NO! A troll is a Troll is a Troll. KILL it on sight.)
Then we added… .dead humans and dead Elves to this mix
Really
Really?
Who ever thought this will work our?
But somehow the Coalition of survivors on the brink of extinction somehow managed to always make things worse and war after another…
Nothing, nothing happened with the Horde
Its the same trainwreck that was since the WC3
Can it scallie boy, and remeber, the ORIGINAL furry race, the Tauren was the foundtation of the Horde and considering how the orcs are a massive faliures, without them there wouldn’t even be any Horde

Bro I read a Vanilla guide that was created by Blizzard (a small book guide) that specifically said that Taurens looked massive and scared the Alliance in the battle field, but on the inside they are peaceful and nature loving.
It’s clearly the human ignorance.
You ignore the fact that story was hijacked by some company man (read Ion or whoever).
You ignore imbalance, drop loot rng (sic), guild leader ego-centrism, etc.
You ignore hard working people at blizz, who actually give you the good time, when they got replaced.
You ignore your pet, your family, your friends and life in general when you raid with bugs, fast forward or incomplete content. What you gonna tell them, you spend 3 hours in queue and then your body can’t release cause you drop into textures?
You clearly desperately need this game to fulfill your miserable life, as warrior or hunter.
And list can go on indefinitely.

They were truely fearsome in all these battles they were sent in…if there were any noteworthy ones. The ones in Taurajo made good target practice for the alliance however further down the line. The only real noteworthy battle they had was during a time you are already discontent with. Pandaria.
Yeah, not all Orks are war thirsty savages. I like to think of my character of a more calmer type that would wander outland nagrand, tending to the earth while being ready for a fight if it happens

Cheers and rejoice for you have all been given the gift !
The gift of mankind : at the end of warcraft 1 and 2 you were the apex predators at the end of wow you are but a bunch broken survivors and furry things and for the undead a specy endangered that’s quite the accomplishement ! :o
Even that old fool of rathakan and his empire bited the dust that is what will cost you for every human lives lost, just to get the banshee out of the picture and the human egemony reign supreme without sharing !
hiss at Twiluna long live to the future queen ! You wanted a windrunner queen i am giving you your wish but not how you wanted it ofc .
We just need to murder theron and the magister some sin’doreis and put our ren’doreis into the mix and in command that should be easy enough , silver moon must be alliance again , we conquer and dominate all !

well, things change, things move on. it would be horribly boring if things stagnated for over 15 years and its not like the alliance “is what it used to be” either. not quite sure what you re trying to accomplish with this.
I am perfectly fine with that.
in outland,
where your kind belongs
“The horde means nothing”
