So, with the destruction of Dalaran (not obliteration or complete annihilation) there was a place called The Violet Hold. What happened to all those “inmates” held there?
Assuming some survived, will we be seeing the around?
Who would you think most likely to survive and cause more chaos in the new zones (maybe through a world quest?)?
There’s two you hunt down in quests (both in Ringing Deeps, there might be more I’m unaware of) while there’s three rotating rares at the ruins that were Violet Hold prisoners.
Those who didn’t die on impact likely dalaRAN away! Ohoho.
Basically this. We know some survived, so it’s a fair assumption that some are on the run and the rest have finished serving their life sentences.
I’m more concerned about the dreadlord the mages kept in a sphere. Do we know where Kathra’natir’s gone?

Considering that the Violet Hold is meant to be rather full, and not just the size of the dungeon of the same name, as well, the fact that, for some reason, we have few quests to handle some prisoners, would leave to thought that more could have gotten away from under the radar after surviving the destruction, and crash.
Honestly, this gives a great excuse to roll some new “villain” characters, for those who enjoy.

I do love that there are class specific flavour quests. Rogues have a few short ones too.
I know Mages have a quest where we have to conjurer 40 food for an Innkeeper… But thats it, I thinks?
Rogues have one where you have to steal candles for a hidden Kobold, and we unlock the ability to have the chance of pickpocketing wax.
There’s a Forsaken rare mob close to the Dalaran crash site, I assume she was a prisoner in the Violet Hold.
