So, i was doing some infinite quests, and i got the one to do violet hold, then the question strikes me. When queen of toes xalatath blew up dalaran, what the hell happened with all the prisoners who were imprisoned there? Did all die? If yes they did missed some chanches for some kind of extra content like hunt down the escpapees, Some of them to apear random of the zones and cause mischief and to be needed to hunt them or somehing similar to the blue dragon on karesh where you need a group to defeat it!
Whoever survived and was not captured , escaped .

Wasnt there a quest where you had to kill some of the monsters that were kept there? I vaguely remember one of those being a botani mage-killer and I think there two more quests/mobs you had to clean up.
Also isnt that big genesaur (those massive plant centaurs from dreanor) in rinnging deeps, who patrols around Magni’s lost hammer, an escapee from violet hold?
All in all some of them survived the crash nevertheless. Maybe we will see more of them in future expansions as quest mobs or side bosses in dungeons.
