They added some new glow to the golden eyes of the blood elves and as a result, golden eyed blood elves now look far-eyed. It’s a bit comical. Has anyone else noticed this? Googling the issue doesn’t really yield any results.

Yup, since the new patch for some reason are too glowy. I think it looked much better before, more realistic should i say(?)

It’s not just the glow though. It’s that the glow is misplaced so the characters look far-eyed. At least on female blood elves. It looks hilarious, but it’s not really the look I was going for. :>

yup noticed this when I used them in trial of style, they should just make them identical to green eyes… but gold

Bringing this to the top again. I feel like it is an important issue. But then again, I can’t even look straight now so what do I really know?
Far eyed more like a gap between the golden light and the eyes

They’re on a high light diet. The more they consume, the more glow.
Look at the bright side of things - you no longer need artificial lights in Silvermoon or candles 
Green eyes have a similarly positioned glow but the glow is less intense and more spread out so it doesn’t look like they’re wearing 7 pairs of contact lenses when you look at them from the front.

I had never noticed that the glow was off on the green eyes, but with the golden eyes it becomes very apparent. I guess we should thank our far-eyed misadventure for bringing attention to this, while rather tiny, much important issue!
