What healing addons do you use?

I’m interested to see what combinations of addons (if any) people are using to complement their healing.

Currently I’m using:

  • Weakauras(Timers for Mana Tea, Thunder Focus Tea, Renewing Mist and a little bar that follows my cursor with Renewing Mists/Thunder Focus Tea/Mana Tea icons when they’re available – Basically to annoy me into using them)
  • Vuhdo
  • General mouseover macro’s setup for each healing spell

I tried using Grid2(combined with mouseover macro’s or Clique) but setting up Grid2 was cumbersome to make it look just the way I like it. Clique works fine but I see no real need for it with mouseover macro’s setup.

I use elvui plus clique click to heal function, which i prefer over mouseovers. Left mouse click is rejuvenation for example.

The benefit of clique with mouseover macros is saving you a hell of a lot of space on your action bar since you dont need to keybind them.

Weak auras i use for any spec, not really healer specific.

I’m using Elvui for my party frames, but am considering switching to Grid2 (tried Vuhdo, but ended up back with stock elvui frames after a month). My main problem with Elvui’s frames is that I can’t quite configure how and which buffs/debuffs it shows in an obvious way. For example, I’m having a hard time seeing how many necrotic stacks the tank has, which is a very annoying issue. One of these days…

For WeakAuras, I’m using wago . io / 4vrLUIzQp (without spaces, because forums…) as my HUD, shows most of the things I care about.

I used to use mouseover macros, but switched to Clique instead, so that I can have offensive abilities on my bar, but the same key bindings do healing when mousing over a party/raid unitframe. For example, 3 is Rising Sun Kick on the action bar, but Soothing Mist when mousing over a friendly unit. This drastically reduces the number of keys I have to bind, or the macros I have to write. All I need to do is roll my trackball a little.

I have 2 bars on top of each other in the middle and 2 bars making up for 12 buttons in a 4x4 grid besides it that has the buttons in the same position as they are on my Corsair Scimitar mouse.

Those 12 buttons have the majority of my healing spells on them; So actually I could do without Vuhdo but it’s one of the Unitframes UI’s that work exactly as I want it to out-of-the-box. The offensive abilities are on the other 2 bars.

Might change my Unitframes in the future but probably won’t remove the 4x4 grid since I basically use it for all my classes. On my monk the abilities are mouseover macro’s so no real need for clique in my setup.

Grid 2 for the main raidframes; I find it’s fine for tracking all the debuffs I can cleanse, and the HoTs/shields I have cast. The only thing it can’t seem to tell me is who is unhealable at Blackwater Behemoth - but the short version is nobody ought to be if the raid is handling the encounter properly.

Some custom weakauras to place large icons around the raidframe, showing me the cooldowns on my primary spells, where appropriate. For example, I track Revival and Life Cocoon down the side, and Renewing Mist, Essence Font, Thunder Tea and Mana Tea across the top. Helps me remember when I’m forgetting to use something helpful-but-missable. Ren Mists lights up brightly if it has 2 charges, nagging me to cast it on anyone at all.

Plus generic mouseover macros for basically everything that can be cast on another player. I don’t use any click-to-cast because I like to keep the boss/tank as my primary target.

just use blizzard ui you are monk no one care about us .

You can’t see who is unhealable? Just add the debuff you get when you can’t receive heals to your frames.

I tried that, but as far as I can see it is none of the regular types, and there isn’t an obvious way to have Grid2 track things that can’t be cleansed by anyone.

But it’s not very important; most of my raid now gets it right most of the time. The first night was rough when 50% were unhealable and I was wasting mana on them, but it’s fine now.

Idk buddy, it works for me.
