What i dont like about wm

i hate pvp groups.
i wanna have nice fights and not see groups run down one guy its boring and stupid and just for pve players.

i hate wm buffs.
remove it.
if you like pvp you use wm if not turn it off.
these buffs destroy everything.

fix the H/A ratio while using wm.
and fix the phasing or whats going on
it happends so many times that i do a WQ and for whatever reason
5 enemy faction players spawn around me like what the hell. :rage:

That’s WPvP. You can solo WM, but it’s a multiplayer game. It’s deliberatley unbalanced. It’s not going to change. I love it! You will prob find duels or arena/bgs more enjoyable for PvP.

One suggestion to blizz: disable the bounty/assassin system in raids.

You should not get a reward for killing an assassin with a bounty while in a raid, you should not be able to get the assassin/bounty buff while in a raid.

Right now during assaults, the moment where the bounty system should shine, a big amount of all bounties are people in a HK farming raid. Now, I don’t have anything against HK farming raids, but how are people that want to participate in the Assassin/Bounty system supposed to approach this?

Are we supposed to form our own raid and fight them? I don’t see how that is the case as a killed bounty can only be looted by 5 people, so it’s obviously meant as max 5 man group content
so why even enable the system in raids?

Bounties in raids are a great way to entice an opposing raid to form, and they usually do. Would be a shame to lose that, nice bounty battles. I assume the 5 loot limit and quick despawn is designed to reward nearby players, making it a race to get the bounty. Fun!

I would assume there are more than 5 people near the bounty when it’s killed when the bounty is in the middle of a raid you just defeated. Is it intended to frantically click on the little bag after the kill hoping you get lucky enough to be one of the 5 that gets the reward? I think it’s not fun at all to be honest.

Ye I assume it’s supposed to be that way, a frantic race to loot. But also forcing nearby players to make a moral choice. If already looted that day, do you loot, or let others loot. I get some won’t find that fun, but it’s at least an interesting situation. One of the things I like about WM is the randomness, you don’t know what’s going to happen.

Wouldn’t it be a more interesting situation if they would limit the bounty system to parties of 5? I think the fights would be better as skill would matter more, and the reward would be better as (in my opinion) it’s more satisfying to win those kind of fights, and everyone gets the reward.

I guess what I want blizzard to do is either make the reward for killing the bounty and the giant raid around it available to everyone that at least tagged the bounty (or in a certain range of it, probably better for healers) or make the system limited to groups of 5 to reflect the nature of the reward.

Great to float ideas, but always pros and cons. Part of the reason for bounty in a raid is to give consequence to the raid’s actions. They are likely to end up with 3+ bounties. When that is advertised by opposing faction in LFG, an opposing raid can form very quick. The raid with bounties will either be defeated and balance restored, or they will win, and the opposing faction either tries again or gives up. I love that dynamic, a natural PvP solution to LFG faction imbalances. Big fights are a lotta fun, small fights are great too tho, love em all!

I like as is, so I agree to disagree. But if a change was to be made, sure just make so more can loot. But, I guess Blizz did design the looting like this deliberately to be unfair to slow pokes. Next time they will be quicker. Always fun to try and see where the loot will spawn and click fast, especially if opposing raid is still active.

So because you arent in a group does it mean its not a multiplayer game anymore and you should never help anyone?

Why do you use groups?
be faster done?
scared of pvp?
pve player?

you said its fun to have big fights.
what big fights are we talking about?

groups rushing down 2 people or killing a city boss?
because thats the only really big fight i have ever seen.

i havent seen anything about nice big fights in bfa.

The only thing i can see is:

groups rushing down players.

players that arent in groups dont even care about pvp most of the time
and use wm just because of the buffs.

Of course he doesn’t mean that - you can solo almost every content in this game, and also WM
But because this is a multiplayer game, you will experince people in groups even if you decide to play alone.

And honestly, I doubt half of those who help me actually help me because they are nice guys or they like me, but because they have a chance of fighting.

I have an friend I used to play with, we got lost from each other a lot
Being in a group and have the dot to follow helps a lot.

I guess the player decides what a ‘nice big fight’ is.

The quality of the fight in terms of length, counterattcks, area or class.
Or the amount of participants.

How can you say that, at lot of people like to attack multiple enemies just for the rush or because they are confident enough to attack more than one.

Some are in WM out of principle “I was on a PVP server before, I need to be in WM” or “only wusses are not in WM” and therefore they play as any other PvE server only doing pvp when pvp finds them

Seen plenty big fights. One reason to raid individuals is to generate multiple bounties in your group. This usually attracts an opposing raid = big fight.

The WM forum is in the PvP section for a reason. WPvP is anything goes PvP. WPvP has always has been about ganking, etc
May as well complain the sky is blue
uh oh better not say that.

Remove groups while wm is on thanks!

How bout this, solo WMers on seperate shard/phase from grouped WMers.

I thought raids could be on own shard, but maybe put all groups on own shards. Then you have an easy and a hard mode, without the player having to do anything, except join group or not.

i like that idea.

get this boring pve players away from me.

Nah, now you complicate things

I’m all in for the raid shard, but sharding single player and small groups away would make it annoying
Then I wouldn’t be able to help a guildie in need of help from anotherplayer, finding them with the dot.

Well spotted, always pros and cons. Small grps needed for easy mode. Okay, raids are the real issue, move em to hard mode shards.

For fair and nice fights, blizzard implemented the Arena?

no.
its all about your comp lol.

Ye, screw it, why fix if not broken.

Some players just can’t take unscripted sandbox environment. They need rules, regulation, limitations - borders and walls for a cosy box to be in. Maybe even some illusion of fairness, since real is not possible in a game where everybody doesn’t play exactly the same character/class/whatever.

And it’s OK, just don’t forget that you already have a lot of this kind environments in WoW.

And most importantly

Phasing - yes, system needs improvements, and they happen. Ofc, as always not as fast as players want them to happen, but current version is much better than what was at the start of BfA.

Rewards - they need to be. Why would anyone play Arena/BGs if there were no rewards and possibility to progress your character. Players would mostly do PvE, and then just “PvP for fun on a weekends” when there is nothing else to do. No thank you, I don’t want that.

Bonus is not the best reward structure by far, but it works so far, and it’s good. Conquest as a currency and PvP vendors would be A LOT BETTER, but well
