The Vengeance DH artifact’s hidden appearance basically looks like dual wielding shields, would it be too much of a stretch to ask that they can transmog their weapons into shields (using their warglaive animations)? Probably but I’d love to see it. They’d probably need to rotate them slightly too, but all in all i’d say it’s worth it.
If they’re given shields as something they can equip, they can always have a passive that reduces the block and armour by 100% in favour for another stat or something.
I know it’s impossible and really dumb, but it would look great.
Not dumb at all, I’d love to be able to mog shields. In Legion I ran my VDH with one hand mogged to the hidden appearance and the other to a katana-like sword. Loved that transmog and I’d still be using it if the mog rules hadn’t changed for artifact weapons when BfA launched
For me transmogrification is something we have collected, earned and a certain style between classes.
Glaives got restricted to DH so it wouldn’t quite be fair that we could transmog into what they can’t use.
I mean where does it end, shields are for plate users and some mail specializations. Should DH’s and Rogues be able to transmog mail and look like a hunter soon??
Actually there are armor pieces that are leather but resemble mail armor.
AB honor vendor shoulders are one of those.
Not saying that they should get mail transmog. Just that they can look like a hunter xD
