correction : the evoker was doing nearly 200k noncrit on me as well…so idk what the hell is going on since i stopped playing 2 weeks ago, but this is insanity damage
Arcane is one of the best casters but has the highest skill cap of them all. Try playing it and you will understand. Most likely the guy was 2700+ exp. He was just good that’s it.

don’t know why you people have not accustomed to the new season HP / Damage ratio’s already. I keep seeing people complaining about 200k’s thrown around here and there, but lettuce be real this is 20% of someone’s HP now, usually done by a nuke/cooldown, usually plenty of time to react.
I still remember warriors in SL S3 doing 40k mortal crits on 60k HP pools, or Devoker S1 DF One shotting people. These numbers seem mild and tame by comparison, especially by specs that are supposed to “nuke” like devoker. TTK is down by all metrics compared to other seasons.

Highest hitter I have seen this patch is Frost Bomb around 350k. And there is counterplay to that…

still not impressed, also arcane is nothing special, frost dores way more dmg, and even frost is not the top dps or burst
