Well that was what was told to me repeatedly throughout the drama’s that I too had a part to play in, ultimately its probabaly best none of us ever attack one another over anything like that, race/religion/ethnicity ect, but beyond that to just try and foster a less hostile/fighting attitude on these forums aswell, alot of these threads just go round and round in circles most of the time people dont convince eachother differently and then it basically continues the next time such a thread is up and the same people who dont/didnt see eye to eye pop up again, probably naive to expect much change, but one can wish.
Isn’t “men” a better term than? Or is that a LotR thing that humanity can also be called men?

It used to be, but it’s the 21st century. Men are no longer the default gender. Or at least, they shouldn’t be.

Eh, I never saw it as them saying men is the default gender. Always saw it as them using a short hand for meaning all of humanity/mankind.

I’m not big into watersports, but it had several nice pools, saunas with different temperature and humidity, so it was fun, if rather exhausting physically and expensive. Had a lot of fun though (it was a friend’s birthday day), so we will probably do it again in a few months.

Guess it makes sense since the time is unlimited. It’s also a good deal for them, because if you spend there the whole day, you’ll be eating at their restaurant at least once. Easy money.
Referring to “men” is hardly an implication that it is a default gender imo, and not just a phrase on its own. Even if we take basic Bible studies (I am going that deep) - Jesus refers to God as a “father” not because God is a man, but because scripture uses understanding and symbolism that everyone can understand.
I would hardly argue that it is just a saying rather than a hardcore implication.

But no, really, I am no scripture man, nor follow Bible zealously, but afaik scripture teaches that there is no gender in the Trinity so
