I would say it is a bit of a difference to show-up a lvl 10 alt posting hostile comments by posting their check-pvp registered main, compared to asking users to write a full list of every individual associated with them and their guilds.

Yes, the former is worse (also it’s not done on “level 10” alts alone) as it exposes the players outside of the forums to harassment. Whereas the latter is just asking for transparency to see if people are truthful or not. It’s contained on the forums, on the avatar they choose to use to post here. So that is entirely self-contained. It can’t harm people beyond that.

Nobody in their right mind will send people harassment over knowing their main. It’s also been used specifically against troll posters.

Last time I saw it used was when it was against a person who was shown to be someone who daily harassed people in whispers with sexual comments and a notorious goldshire erper and who then went on a rampage saying the would sue everyone.

And as for the current situation here, Galford as previously mentioned has an incredibly spotty history(both old and present).

So, when someone non-PCU posts on an alt, it’s to protect themselves from harassment.
But when someone from PCU posts on an alt, it’s secret ploy and insult to transparency? And it should in fact be PCU’s responsibility to reveal which people on the forums belong to our community.
