When I tried FF14 I got harassed by catbois in DM’s when I stood AFK in Limsa waiting for my dungeon queue (having been told that’s the best way to power level) because I played a Hrothgar

I did, after my friend (who was guiding me through FF14 as a noob) had laughed his butt off and told me “Welcome to the Catboy community”. On the first day of playing, one had bought me an expensive cosmetic item off (what I assume is their Auction House) as a “welcome to FF14 gift”.

It also ended with very intrusive DM’s of the sexual nature (Unsolicited).

I didn’t play FF14 for long.
