and here i was , a new player on ad. i do know about the pcu existing and follow some of the guilds in them here at the forums seems like they are fun.
But hey i am shy so for the moment i am only by myself having a litle fun playing arround and maybe some day i join some market with my lw toon for crafting selling things.
after reading this tread from top to bottum, srr to say , i dont think i ever will be doing that.

there’s a thread up somewhere where someone said they have shyness issues in engaging RP so if that’s a block for you you could check it out, there’s some solid advice being given

Wouldnt blame you, when you see people willing to defend disgusting behaviour simply cuz its their mates/associates? why be a part of that? hope you find the right community for you there are several that from what Ive seen have next to no drama what so ever you’ll find something right for you

I really don’t understand what we’re arguing about.

Nobody is obligated to roleplay with anyone. If you don’t want to roleplay with someone, that’s your prerogative and you don’t have to.

Every community has bad apples. This is not exclusive to PCU, and I do unfortunately speak from experience.

You aren’t going to get along with everyone. But you just /ignore or try to keep it civil for the sake of roleplay. You don’t have to be friends with everyone.

Ultimately you don’t have to pay attention to what’s said on this thread. The Forums represent a small portion of AD’s actual playerbase, and if you don’t worry about the drama then it most likely will never bother you :>

Go out and enjoy the rping world! Nothing said here should effect that.

The PCU (Perroy Cinematic Universe), is a group of assorted people with various backgrounds, and stages of social reputation. This group has been made to offer easier interaction between its own members in connection with content and events. Some consider them to be unwanted, and others to be a need for them to easier find roleplay in the form of interactions, reactions, and events.

The group is an alliance between various guild concepts and projects, formed around ideas and impressions of previous content or guilds to find a united way to keep roleplay active for them and theirs.

The group is named after one Forsaken character who, to my knowledge, is currently not playing or participating with their roleplay alliance but is to some famous, and others, infamous. Like other socially connected communities, their list of members has good and bad apples, but we are commonly informed about the bad apples and their behavior, and many of the good apples stay clear of the larger anti-PCU as well as a lot of pro-PCU behavior and just wish to be part of a community which has some interaction. PCU as a community has a wide reaction to people they rather not interact with or people who proclaim that they do not wish to interact with them, following the use of the “No PCU” tag commonly found within TRP (TotalRP Addon).

The community infight between PCU and other members of the Argent Dawn players is considered to be, in my opinion, part of what is harming our world of roleplay. And I do acknowledge that people have various interactions with this community, as well as others, some good, other bad, which is where the friction comes from to the part where we, as an Argent Dawn community, is even more split, and following that, creates a need to join a roleplay community - such as the PCU to make sure you get the sought for roleplay.

Don’t remember to proclaim each time someone calls you out for the deranged amount of time you spend on that Tumblr page “exposing” (See: obsessing) your “enemy” that you only spend 30 minutes a day with your “team” going through stuff.

Then post literally every hour of the day, 24/7, every minor detail, LARP’ing the discount Congolese secret police but worse
